thermal detonators - stacking bombs

If you have thermal detonators and skilled bombardier can you stack both bombs on 1 or 2 for greater damage (with bombardier modification 2 -1 or 1+1)?

No, the requirement of using a different template still must be met to drop multiple bombs even if Skilled Bombardier is used to modify the template being used. Using skilled bombardier to increase a 1 speed drop to a 2 speed drop still uses the same template as a default 2 speed drop.
