Knowledge and defense

Q: obi wans knowledge a d defense ability. If a unit has 2 hunker tokens and is attacked in melee do they add 2 defense dice pluse the 1 against melee or do they only get the 1 extra defense dice while in Melee.

Hunker tokens provide cover, which only provides extra defense dice against ranged attacks.

Knowledge and Defense itself will only ever provide 1 extra die against melee attacks
