Shove and ranged attacks

Hi.

I'm confused about the shove effect. It is supposed to allow me to push an opponent then follow him.

But it seems strange to me to apply a shove after a ranged attack.

Though i can't find anywhere in the rules something saying that shove is reserved to melee attacks only.

Do you make shoves after ranged attacks ?

A shove can be performed as a part of a melee or ranged attack, yes.

As a note, shoves are not necessarily performed “after” an attack. Shoves from the Combat Tree are performed in Step 8 of an attack. Shoves from the Expertise Tree are performed after the attack is resolved, which is step 10 of an attack.
