Bring Down the Shields - Attacker's Console Action

In the Bring Down the Shields scenario, when one of the Attacker's units performs a Console Action it rolls 3 black attack dice and "if any of the results rolled match an
uncovered slot on the Transmitter card, you may put a victory token on that slot."

Can the player do this for each matching attack die (i.e. covering up to 3 slots in one action), or just once per action no matter how many dice match?

They may cover as many slots as they roll matching dice for.
