I hate even asking these questions but feel it's good to know. What happens when you pay a force for an ability that can only target a unit that can't be effected? For instance Bola Toss into Luke who's in the reserve. Luke has immunity to both conditions. Does the ability fail and the force is lost or does the ability fail and the force refunded with no legal targets? If there is another target but you first select Luke, could you pick a new target? Same for coordinated fire with a wounded unit and shooting a unit with immunity. What about abilitiies like intercede. If you declare an illegal target, can you then declare a legal target? Maybe a better question is, can you pay for an ability that has no effect?

I'd love some clarification on what abilities/game effects still work after a Mind Trick. After targeting, Your Hate Makes You Stronger. Next attack triggers such as Focus (impact and sharpshooter), and Vaders Fury. Target before dice are rolled, Coordinated Fire. Next attack roll, Hello There. After attack action, targeted characters, I'm Always First Kid or No One Gets Between Me And My Job. Any others I'm sure I'm missing.

What is the official setup steps for a tournament for each round? Is everything the same except setting up terrain? Can the player that wins first player choose to deplay from any of the 4 board edges in a tournament?

If a character is engaged with a wounded enemy character that has No Mercy and not engaged with another enemy unit, if they climb, do they ignore the No Mercy ability since climbs icon is not the advance or dash icon? What about a reposition movement?
