Blipvert
A unit begins an advance and is not engaged. It’s path takes it within engagement range of an enemy unit. Does the advance become a dash at the point it entered engagement range? Or does it continue it’s advance because it started outside engagement range? When Advancing, characters do not move along the movement tool. Once the tool is positioned, pick up the character and put it down in contact with the tool. Blipvert
Put another way, if the unit is not engaged, enemy units do not reduce the movement to a dash.
