  1. Rules Reference Correction: In the "Raid" topic: the following bullet points should be considered added: ◊ A ship cannot discard a dial it gains from an effect to discard all raid tokens. • Raid tokens can only be assigned to a ship with a size class. To look like the following, RAID TOKENS Some effects refer to raid tokens. While a ship has a raid token, it cannot resolve the command matching that raid token. • When a ship with a raid token reveals a command dial, it may discard that dial to discard all of its raid tokens, or it may discard a command token to discard a matching raid token. ◊ A ship cannot discard a dial it gains from an effect to discard all raid tokens. • A ship cannot have more than one raid token of each type. • Raid tokens can only be assigned to a ship with a size class. This was to help clear up confusion on some Raid interactions.
  2. Question: When can you exhaust B2 Rocket Troopers to assign a raid token to a ship that is being attacked? Answer: During the "Resolve Attack Effects" step of an attack.
  3. Question: For Jedi Hostage, if I'm attacking, can I choose to gain a raid token I already have assigned?Answer: No. Question: For Jedi Hostage, if I'm attacking, what is the timing of when I'm assigned a raid token? Answer: At the beginning of the "Declare Target" step of the attack.
  4. Rules Reference Correction: FAQ Page 32 "Defense Tokens" Q: Can a ship spend a defense token even if it would have no effect? The following answer should be considered removed: A: Yes. For example, a ship can spend a Redirect token and choose an adjacent hull zone with no shields remaining. In its place the following answer should be considered added: A: Yes. A defense token that is spent resolves its effect in the appropriate timing window regardless of the result of the effect. This change was to clarify the previous answer given.
  5. Question: Can you assign Raid tokens to Stations that have station cards?Answer: No.
  6. Question: Can card effects such as Admiral Konstantine, Luminara, General Grievous, Kraken, etc be used in conjunction with Unarmed Stations?Answer: Yes, unarmed stations "are treated as ships when resolving effects." with no size class and considered friendly to the player that controls their station card.
  7. Question: Can you move Obstacles or Objective Tokens off the play area with effects?Answer: No.Question: Can you move Objective Tokens with "Strategic" and place them underneath ships or squadrons? Can you move them out from underneath ships and squadrons?Answer: Yes. Yes.
  8. Question: Would the use of Admiral Ackbar's effect prevent a ship from resolving Salvo's effect from the front or rear hull zones? Answer: Yes. Admiral Ackbar's effect persists the entire round and would prevent attacks from those zones.
  9. Question: Can a ship with no "printed rear armament" spend a Salvo defense token or resolve the Salvo effect against ships? Answer: Yes, but the attack would end in the "Roll Attack Dice" step since no dice are able to be gathered.
  10. Question: If I spend a Salvo defense token in the "spend defense tokens" step can I choose not to attack? Answer: No, the attack is mandatory unless otherwise prevented.
  11. Question: For the Objectives "Infested Fields" and "Dangerous Territory", If a Ship or squadron is "placed" or "deployed" overlapping an obstacle that has an objective token on it, can it remove that objective token to gain 1 victory token?Answer: No, a ship or squadron can only remove the objective token on an obstacle when it overlaps after moving.
  12. Question: If ships are "Set Aside", does that change how Pass Tokens are received for either player?Answer: No. Pass Tokens are assigned according to each players "total ships" before deployment.
  13. Rules Reference Correction: In the "Line of Sight" topic: the following bullet point should be considered removed: "If line of sight is traced through the attacking or defending hull zone’s shield dial and that dial is also overlapping an obstacle, that attack is treated as obstructed." See this post for additional information.
  14. Question: If I draw line of sight over a shield dial and that dial is also overlapping an obstacle, is the attack obstructed?" Answer: The attack is obstructed only if line of sight is traced through an obstacle token as well. When tracing line of sight, ignore ships’ shield dials and the plastic portions of the base that frame the shield dial. If necessary, the ship’s owner may mark that ship’s position, lift it out of the way to remove its shield dial, then return it. Before lifting the ship or removing its shield dial, note the numeric value that is showing.
  15. Rules Reference Correction: In the "Modifying Dice" topic: the following bullet points should be considered added: • Replace: When a die is replaced by another die, the first die is removed from the attack pool and the second die takes its place as indicated by the effect. • Exchange: When a die is exchanged for another die, the first die is removed from the attack pool and the second die takes its place as indicated by the effect. • Set: When a die is set, place it in the attack pool, with the relevant result face-up, as indicated by the effect. • Remove: When a die is removed, it is removed from the attack pool. To look like the following, Modifying Dice Dice can be modified in the following ways by game effects: • Reroll: When a die is rerolled, the attacker picks it up and rolls it again. A die can be rerolled multiple times. • Add: When a die is added, roll an unused die of the appropriate color into the attack pool. ◊ The range restriction on dice color applies only when dice are gathered during the “Roll Attack Dice” step of an attack. • Change: When a die is changed, rotate it to display the indicated face. • Spend: When a die or die icon is spent, remove that die from the attack pool. • Cancel: When a die or die icon is canceled, remove it from the attack pool. • Replace: When a die is replaced by another die, the first die is removed from the attack pool and the second die takes its place as indicated by the effect. This defines wording specified by several upgrade cards that affect dice.
  16. Rules Reference Correction: In the "Effects Use and Timing" topic: the following bullet point should be considered removed: • Resolving an upgrade card effect is optional unless otherwise specified. All other card effects are mandatory unless otherwise specified. In its place the following bullet points should be considered added: • Card effects are mandatory unless otherwise specified as optional or limited to a set number of uses within a specified timing.◊ Upgrade cards that utilize critical effects are always optional, as specified in "Attack" and "Effects Use and Timing" topics. This gives players clearer direction on this topic.
  17. Question: Can a player choose when to resolve TF-1726's effect? Answer: Yes. The player can determine when to resolve TF-1726's effect, once per activation.
  18. Question: Can a player choose when to resolve General Rieekan's effect?Answer: Yes. The player can determine when to resolve General Rieekan's effect, once per round.
  19. Question: Which effect resolves first, Barriss Offee or critical effects? Answer: Barriss Offee resolves first.
  20. Question: How does Barriss Offee work with the objective "Superior Positions"? Answer: Superior Positions will resolve, and the attacking player will gain a victory token, if the current defending hull zone is the rear hull zone when damage is suffered.
  21. Question: How do Barriss Offee and Salvo interact? Which hull zone is referenced to resolve the Salvo attack? Answer: Salvo would use the new defending hull zone, but the attack would use the same "measurements for attack range and line-of-sight as the originating attack."
  22. Question: How does Adi Gallia and XI7 Turbolasers interact? Answer: This depends on the order of effects, as resolved by the defender. If no "Redirect" token is spent for the "Redirect" effect, there is no interaction. If the defender resolves Adi Gallia before resolving "Redirect", XI7 Turbolasers has no effect on Adi Gallia's effect. If the defender resolves "Redirect" before resolving Adi Gallia, they must adhere to the restrictions put in place by XI7 Turbolasers while resolving Adi Gallia.
  23. Question: How does this Adi Gallia and "Redirect" resolve together? Each effect seem at odds with each other and as "Redirect" states "must suffer the remaining damage on the defending hull zone". Answer: When you proceed to the "Resolve damage" step. "When you suffer damage" you are able to choose and resolve the order in which each effect resolves. By choosing to resolve Adi Gallia's effect first, you are able to move damage per that effect, and then choose to resolve the "Redirect" effect, and move damage with that effect. Any remaining damage then "must" be suffered on the defending hull zone. If a player chooses to resolve the "Redirect" effect first, they would not be able to resolve Adi Gallia's effect.
  24. Question: For Mercy Mission, What does "fleet value" mean? Answer: Your "fleet value" is the same as your "Fleet point cost".
