Hello,
Yes. Only mercenary units are restricted on receiving orders from units of the same affiliation.

Hello,
Remove Tokens (which includes removing one suppression from eligible trooper units) is before the end of a round/the game. The unit would score the hostage in your example.
TP

Hello,
Range is measured from the attacking unit leader, so the droideka unit wouldn’t be able to make a ranged attack.

Hello,
Dooku would still take the wound. Soresu Mastery causes a wound to the attacker for each surge result rolled, so Dooku will still take the wound, as a Surge result was rolled by Obi Wan, even if it was canceled by the Pierce X keyword.

Hello,
Yes, you can add a jetpack to the miniature. The Jetpack isn't mentioned as it's a subtitle, but the Arc Trooper (DC-15x Long Rifle) unit has the same speed and Bound keyword as ARC troopers (Jetpack), and therefore can be modeled with a Jetpack!

Hello,
The Battleforce Special rules state that Wookiee Warriors (Noble Fighters) count as a Corps unit for the purposes of army building and Battle Cards. Therefore, the Wookiee Warriors you mentioned would be able to select one as a Corps unit to start with a claimed Hostage upgrade card in Hostage Exchange.

Hello,
The Wookiee Warriors count as Corps for the purposes of army building and battle cards. They still retain their Special Force rank during the game.

Hello,
No, it does not. You can only issue orders at range 1-2 in an imperial Remnant battleforce.
TP
-
Hello,
No. If a unit is defeated you cannot play their associated command cards, and therefore cannot swap them out using Contingency.
TP

Hello,
Fixed front doesn’t determine how many miniatures are eligible to be defeated, only if the unit can be targeted or not. If one mini from the unit is in arc, the entire unit is a valid target, and you cause wounds / defeat miniatures as normal.

Hello,
Unless specified otherwise, a unit can claim multiple objective tokens.
TP
-
Hello,
No. You cannot move or place the hostage unit in a way that starts an engagement.

Hello,
The effect of “Rapid Reinforcements” can only be utilized by Trooper units. The card specifies that Trooper units with the rank of Commander or Operative cannot be chosen. AATs and Saber tanks cannot use the effect of that condition card.

Hello,
Yes.
TP

Hello,
Yes, the weapons keywords are included.
TP
-
Hello,
That's correct. If the unit equipped with Raiding Party Leader is defeated, other eligible units would lose Demoralize 1.
TP
-
Hello,
No, the unit doesn’t lose its standby token because it did not perform a move or move action.
TP
-
Hello,
No. Deflect is an enemy effect, and the Hostage unit is Immune to enemy effects during the first round.

Hello,
3 hours ago, Butninja said:Does the scout keyword value gained from Advanced positions stack with existing scout keywords
Yes. Generally speaking, most numbered keywords stack, with a few limitations. Different sources of Scout would stack up to 3, which is the highest speed a unit can move.
3 hours ago, Butninja said:Are you allowed to be in base contact with condition tokens, before the first round begins?
Yes. As stated, the limitation is with Objective tokens, and Condition tokens are not Objective tokens.

Hello,
Trooper units cannot make free actions during an activation in which they withdraw. Creature troopers can only use Reposition and Relentless as per page 36 of the Core Rulebook, and Emplacement troopers can use Reposition when they withdraw.

Hello,
Armor is used when defending against an attack, and the unit using Guardian is not the defender of an attack. Therefore Armor and Armor X are not triggered when using Guardian and the unit would still roll a defense due for the hit against it.
Also, please note that “Esteemed Leader” only gives Corps units Guardian. Darktroopers in your example are not corps.

Hello,
No. You cannot take two of the same command card when list bullding.
TP
-
Hello,
No. Those units could still utilize those abilities.
TP
-
Hello,
No. The nominated bounty unit must be a unit with the rank of Commander or Operative. A Heavy marked with a commander token does not have the rank of Commander or Operative.

Hello,
No, unless the unit that’s checking is the same affiliation as the Field Commander unit.
