Hello,
Yes - Improvised Orders can be used to draw an order token out of your order pool after the effect of “They Too Will Suffer” is used.

Hello,

Yes. As you stated, Yoda is not part of Chewbacca’s unit.
Note that ARC #1 should finish placing minis into base contact with Chewbacca, as part of the Moving Into Melee process, before Yoda is placed.
4 hours ago, Butninja said:Does this allow Yoda to (as per the explanation above) move into melee, as per the core rulebooks "moving into melee" ruling?
Correct. He is “placed” into a melee.

Hello,
Yes. You’re limited to one attack action per activation, however “Trained in your jedi arts” is an attack, and therefore can be used even if Grevious made an attack action, such as the free one granted from Relentless.

Hello,
As stated in the Core Rule Book, “A Standby token is spent before any effects that trigger after an attack, attack action, move, or move action. Therefore, the Standby token would be spent first.

Hello,
While detonating the mine is an attack, the attack is performed from the token, not the Saboteur unit. It would not count for the card effect of "Aboreal Assault".

Hello,
When it is your turn, you either activate a unit or Pass. Because "Give in to Your Anger" is triggered before their first unit is activated, a Pass would mean the player did not choose to activate a unit, and therefore the effect would not trigger. A target unit for the Command Card's effect would be chosen when the player decides to activate their first unit.

On 7/19/2023 at 1:41 AM, Voidwolf said:does the attacker still take a wound for surges that are rerolled into blocks or blanks
Yes. A Surge was rolled during the specified step, so Deflect would trigger on each surge rolled, even if it is re-rolled via Uncanny Luck. The same applies in your All In example.
On 7/19/2023 at 1:41 AM, Voidwolf said:Since he rolled no blocks, his opponent removes those two surges and Lando takes two wounds. How many wounds does the attacker take?
The attacker would take four wounds in this case.

His card is Divulged during the "Deploy Units Step". A commander needs to be on the board to use their Command Cards, so if you have not revealed him/Cad has not been revealed at the start of the second round, you would not be able to play one of Cad Bane's command cards during the second round.
On 7/23/2023 at 3:58 PM, Syko Havi said:am I right in saying he can't be issued another order this round
That's correct, as Comms Relay specifies the unit cannot be issued another order during the issue orders step. They can be given an order later in the round from the Order Pool however.

Hello,
A dodge needs to be spent during the Apply Dodge and Cover step. You can choose to spend a Dodge to cancel 0 hits, even if all hits are canceled by Cover.

Hello,
The unit would have to gain an aim from the “Constantly Alert” card effect to not gain a standby token. An aim from Linked Targeting Array would not satisfy the second portion of the card, a standby would be gained in that case.

Hello,
No, you only claim one objective token when you use the claim action. Because Claim is a non-move action, it can only be used once during your activation.
TP

Hello,
A unit does not block its own line of sight. That includes other miniatures in the unit.
TP

Hello,
Yes - the attacks are not actions and can be used after performing a withdraw.

Hello,
Units gain indomitable while within Range 1 to 2 of Anakin or Clone Captain Rex. They only have the keyword while in this range.

Ahsoka gains Agile 1 for the round.
44 minutes ago, Fenix21 said:If that standby is triggered and she moves again does she gain the second dodge?
Yes.
45 minutes ago, Fenix21 said:Also does force push trigger agile/tactical
No. Those are both triggered off move actions, and speed x moves are not move actions.

Hello,
The unit he is engaged with can be targeted. You cannot attack a unit with a ranged weapon that is in base to base contact with you, unless that weapon also has a melee icon.
TP
-
Hello,
The Fire Supporting unit is not making a ranged attack, it’s adding it’s weapon dice and weapon keyword to another unit making an attack action. It would not count.
TP

Hello,
Force Barrier removes hits, and therefore doesn’t interact with when Pierce is triggered.
TP
-
Hello,
You would not receive two Dodges, as a dodge action was not performed.
TP

Hello,
Yes, Unit A could trigger Fire Support and their activation wound end if they did so.

Hello,
The placed barricades from "Fortified Positions" are independent of any barricades that may have been part of the table before battlecards were picked.

Hello,
4 hours ago, Xilo said:Or because both units involved in the melee aren't trooper units, are neither Vader nor the AAT classed as being 'engaged'?
This is correct.
4 hours ago, Xilo said:so could the AAT in this case just blast Vader in the face before having to move out of melee?
It could not attack Vader with ranged weapons because it is at Melee range. It would have to attack him with a melee weapon, of which it has none. It would also be free to make ranged attacks against other enemy units, as it is not considered to be engaged.
4 hours ago, Xilo said:lets say a B1 unit nearby shoot Vader even though he is in melee with the AAT?
Yes, for the reason you stated.
Hope that helps,

Hello,
Personnel upgrades are the same unit type as the unit they are added to. They would be troopers in your example.

Hello,
Yes, Suppressive automatically gives the defender a suppression when it is chosen as the defender of an attack with the Suppressive keyword.

No. Dodge tokens cannot be used during Guardian, and free actions are used during your activation.
