Does Making a "free" Advance/Dash/Climb Count as a Move Action?

Recommended Posts

Advance/Dash/Climb (A/D/C) are listed under the possible choices of taking a Move Action. The rules state you can only perform one of each type of action per turn, the FAQ says being granted a free action counts as that unit's "X" action for the turn.

So, my question is if the character is granted an A/D/C via an ability (such as Force Speed), does that count as their move action for the turn? A/D/C are contained in the framework of a move action, but the rules don't specifically state them as specific move actions. Do the A/D/C icons constitute an "action".

So can Ahsoka use Force Speed *and* perform a move action?

Could Maul use Force Speed, then make a move action to advance, then attack and trigger reposition to let him advance again?

Follow Up Question: Is the number of jumps per turn limited? (aside from only using active abilities once per turn)

Yes to both.

Jump is limited by the rules that grant Jump.
