  1. The effects of Blaze obstacles are suffered whenever the ship moves through or overlaps the obstacle, after resolving its move - in the same way as other obstacles. This will be made clear in a future RRG update.
  2. Ric Olie can use his ability against a ship that was ionized when it executed its maneuver. Only abilities that resolve when/after the ionized ship reveals its maneuver cannot be triggered.
  3. No. Expert Handling adds a white Barrel Roll action to the ship's action bar. it does not change the difficulty of any printed actions.
  4. Once the ship has used Grappling Struts or Landing Struts and flipped the card, it ignores obstacles at range 0. As a result, the ship would suffer no effects from moving through or overlapping that obstacle.
  5. When ISB Jingoist (TIE/ln Fighter) uses its ability, it's controlling player must declare what type of token the chosen enemy ship will gain before the opposing player makes their decision to remove 1 green token.
  6. Darth Vader (TIE Advanced x1) could perform the scenario action with his initial action choice during the Perform Action step, but cannot use the action granted by his pilot ability to perform a scenario action.
  7. Bo-Katan Kryze (Crew) does allow a ship to reroll 1 attack dice during attacks made at attack range 0, since the ability text specifically calls out attacks at range 0.
  8. A ship that is towing a supply cache cannot perform the listed actions. The action does not fail, it cannot occur. Players should resolve accidental misplays however they see fit. In a tournament situation, a judge should be called to make a ruling.
  9. A docked ship that performs an Emergency Deploy loses the ability to take its action given by the deployment, but this would not effect actions granted by upgrades, such as Afterburners.
  10. No. A ship cannot perform an attack against a target that is not in the attack arc. Yes. The attack is now an attack at attack range 1. Yes, Scorch is able to trigger Trick Shot, since the attack is now obstructed. Trick Shot cannot be used in this situation, since the attack is no longer obstructed.
  11. 1) Yes, it can. It would drop its bomb after it completes all steps of deploying - so after it performs an action. 2) Yes, it can. It would use its Intuitive controls after completing all steps of deploying from the Hyperspace ring, so after it performs an action.
  12. A TIE/rb Heavy equipped with a cannon still maintains its primary turret attack and can attack at range 1.
  13. Your obtion "b". CIS Rogue-class Starfighters that have the Networked Calculations ship ability are able to equip Independent Calculations, even if •Cad Bane (Rogue-class Starfighter) is included in the same squad. Since •Cad Bane (Rogue-class Starfighter) does not have the Networked Calculations ship ability, he is not eligible to equip the upgrade - but this does not stop the ships that do meet that requirement from taking advantage of this option. This will be made clear in a future RRG update.
  14. This was an error in the errata. Barriss Offee (Delta-7B Aethersprite) should have a force value of 1^. An updated document will be made available soon.
  15. Rules Reference Correction: Official errata have been made to the following card: •Engine Techs (Support Team Upgrade) Should read: "Navigation Command: After you execute a maneuver in which you did not overlap a ship, you may exhaust this card to execute a speed-1 maneuver." (Changed card text to enforce intended effect.)
  16. Rules Reference Correction: Official errata have been made to the following card: •Flight Controllers (Weapon Crew Upgrade) Should read: "Squadron Command: When a squadron you activate attacks, before gathering dice, increase its anti-squadron armament by 1 blue die until the end of the attack." (Added a specific timing window and duration of effect to fix interactions with other upgrades.)
  17. Players must use official cards at all official events.
  18. Thank you for your concern! Unfortunately, issues of "stalling" and "fortressing" are instance-specific and impossible to adjudicate in a vacuum. Players should resolve the issue between one another, or call for adjudication in a tournament or event setting.
  19. Thanks for the question! There are no rules for this situation, so in a casual game players should come to a mutual agreement on how to resolve this. In a tournament setting, the players should call a judge to help them resolve the situation.
  20. Rules Reference Update: The following changes will be included in an upcoming update. FAQ, ABILITIES AND THE ABILITY QUEUE Q: Are optional abilities added to the ability queue automatically when they are triggered, or does a player make their choice by adding the ability to the queue? A: Abilities are added to the ability queue automatically when they are triggered as long as they meet the requirements to be added. Players are not required to declare each ability as it enters the queue. However, if a player does not resolve an ability during the appropriate timing window, the opportunity to do so is lost. For example, Afterburners and Fine-Tuned Controls are both optional abilities that are added to the ability queue "after you fully execute a maneuver." A Delta-7 Aethersprite equipped with Afterburners would add both abilities to the queue in an order of its player's choosing. Note that at an ability can be added to the queue only if the requirements for it could be met. For instance, if Afterburners had no active Charges remaining, or if the Delta-7 Aethersprite had no active Force after it executed the maneuver, those abilities could not be added, respectively.
