  1. The document will be updated in the future. It should read "gains mission points equal to half the squad point value of that ship, rounded down".
  2. Darth Vader (Tie Advanced X1 Pilot)'s ability can trigger after you perform any action. This includes after performing actions on upgrade cards such as Passive Sensors, and the calculate or lock action granted by Passive Sensors, if it's charge is inactive before you engage. So yes Vader could do the following 1) During their perform action step, do the Passive Sensors action to spend it's charge. This would trigger Vader's ability allowing him to spend a force to perform an action. 2) Spend a force to perform a focus action (Vader's ability). 3) Before Vader engages, the charge for passive sensors is inactive, so you may perform a calculate or lock action. This would trigger Vader's ability allowing him to spend a force to perform an action. 4) Spend a force to Perform a roll action (Vader's ability).
  3. To exit the trench you do the following. 1) Place the 1 left turn or 1 right turn template so that one end of the template is flush against the "Exhaust port" tile and not overlapping the tile. 2) Pick up the ship which has been assigned the attack run condition. 3) Place that ship so that it's rear guides align with the end of the template not touching the "Exhaust port" tile. So in practice your ship will end up being placed parallel to the trench facing away from the board edge.
  4. Tor Phun's Pilot ability grants you the opportunity for a bonus attack it would be resolved in step 6d of the attack sequence, regardless of whether a player intends to utilize the bonus attack granted (The "gain two strain to perform a bonus attack" of Tor Phun's pilot ability is optional, as the choice to gain the two strains is a "may gain".) In the scenario of Tor Phun attacking a target with the first salvo of cluster missiles and destroying his target, Both his pilot ability and the cluster missiles ability would be added to the ability queue in step 6D (since both grant a bonus attack). If the player chooses to add the pilot ability first and then the cluster missiles bonus attack, it would allow them to resolve the pilot ability first, in which they can perform an action and then choose whether or not they want to gain 2 strain to perform a bonus attack. If they choose not to gain the strain tokens, they can then resolve the cluster missiles bonus attack.
  5. The "center objective" should be oriented as it is in the mission map. Neither player is able to adjust the orientation of this objective.
  6. Question: Does the orientation of the "center objective" have to match the orientation in the Scenario Setup diagram or can player 1 choose how it is oriented?
  7. While Tracking Fob does allow you to ignore the typical range restriction of a target lock (eg allowing locks beyond range 3), it does not allow you to ignore the extra restrictions that Gar Saxon (Scum Gunner) places on performing the lock action as this restriction is arc based and by definition ARC's only extend to range 3. As a result, the ship equipped with Tracking Fob and Gar Saxon Gunner, will only be able to lock the ship with the "Marked for Elimination" condition if that ship is in their front or rear arc.
  8. No, If Tycho is stressed and exclusively overlaps enemy ships during his maneuver, he is not able to perform the red focus action. Tycho's ability allows a player to ignore the "A ship cannot perform actions while stressed." (RRG 1.4.4 Page 3 under Actions) but it does not remove the requirement of the overlap ability, that the ship "is not stressed", that requirement is a true/false check, and if Tycho is stressed it is false.
  9. Automated Target Priority will trigger after each attack regardless of whether it is a standard attack or a bonus attack. So if you made two attacks with Cluster Missiles, it would trigger after both attacks allowing you to stack two calculate tokens on APT, one per attack.
  10. Yes, Biggs (BoY) will prevent other "Selfless" upgrades from being equipped during list building and this limitation will be added to a future revision of the RRG
  11. Step 2 of Overlap In (V1.4.4 of the RRG), states that "Then, after the Check Difficulty step, it suffers an effect based on what ship it overlapped that initially forced it to partially execute the maneuver." The Red Focus/Calculate is an example of one of these effects. So in your example, Luke would do a 2 straight, overlapping another tie, That overlap would then be resolved by placing the ship in the correct location according to the rules. The check difficulty step would then be resolved resulting in the stress token being removed. After the check difficulty step is resolved, you then have the opportunity to perform the red focus action from the earlier overlap.
  12. Nothing happens to the tokens that CIS Durge has when they trigger their ability. They will remain the same as they were before the ability triggered.
  13. Corran's ability only allows for one friendly ship to transfer their lock after Corran declares a defender of an attack. So if you have multiple locks it will require multiple attacks to transfer them all off Corran.
  14. Lando can trigger multiple times a round as it can trigger each time "after you fully execute a red maneuver" or "after you perform a red action" become true. So for example the following works. 1) Lando fully executes a 3 speed Segnor's Loop triggering his ability. He decides to spend one charge (two remaining) and chooses himself as the target. 2) When he resolves the ability, he then can choose to do a red boost. Upon completing this Red Boost, his ability will trigger for a second time. Again he can choose to spend one charge (one remaining now) and select himself as the target. 3) When he resolves the ability, he can then do a red rotate action. Upon completing this Red rotate action, his ability will trigger for a third time. Again he can choose to spend one charge (zero remaining after that) and select himself as the target. 4) When he resolves the ability, he could do a white focus action, but his ability will not trigger as this is white. However note to do this he would end up spending all 3 charges, and would have 3 stress tokens.
  15. Ships only need to overlap one of the two white guide lines to satisfy the conditions for the "Attack run" condition to be assigned.
  16. No, You cannot use Malice or Marksmanship during the rescue mission to change a hit result to a crit result. Both Malice and Marksmanship state "While you perform an attack ..." and while a player rolls Attack dice during Rescue Mission, this is not done during an attack thus neither card comes into effect.
  17. For "Backstabber" (BoY Pilot) and "Mauler Mithel" (BoY Pilot) - "a friendly Darth Vader" refers to a "friendly Darth Vader pilot" but not Darth Vader crew.
  18. The pilot who exclusively overlaps enemy ships during their activation will get to perform the red focus action before any "After an enemy ship executes a maneuver" triggers. For an enemy ship to have executed a maneuver it must perform two sub steps a) Maneuver ship - during which the ship is moved using the matching template and b) Check Difficulty - during which the difficulty of the maneuver is checked and stress is added or removed as required. If an overlap occurred during the "Maneuver ship" step causing a partially executed maneuver, after the Check Difficulty step the player may resolve an effect based on what ship it overlapped. This includes the red focus action granted when a ship overlaps enemy ships exclusively. This step is still part of "Executing a maneuver" thus triggers before the "After an enemy ship executes a maneuver" trigger.
  19. Yes the remaining droids can equip "Independent Calculations" even though Kelrodo-Ai Holdout cannot take it. The statement that a ship is not affected by the standardized restrictions exempts it from having to equip it unlike the rest of the relevant ships in the list.
  20. You should use the same 4 scenarios. In this situation "Standard Play" is referring to "how the game is usually played" (as opposed to a special event such as Battle of Yavin) and is not referring to the Standard vs Extended game modes.
  21. No. Standardized is an upgrade keyword which appears on upgrade cards and is related to the card and not the ability name. The rules for standardized specifically refer to if that card is equipped and if so every ship of that type must equip that card if possible. As a result, the fact that BoY Interceptors "ship ability" share the same name as a standardized upgrade card, does not mean that the standardization rules must come into play. If you then choose to include a non-BoY interceptor with "Intuitive Controls" as well in your squad, you will then be required to equip all other non-BoY interceptors with the standardized upgrade as per the standardized rules.
  22. No, Major Rhymer's ability is "While you perform a <Torpedo> or <Missile> attack, you may increase or decrease the range requirement by 1, to a limit of 0-3". As Snap shot is neither a torpedo nor missile attack this means it will not trigger Rhymers ability.
  23. As spending is defined as a dice modification, that step is skipped and all remaining <hit>/<crit> results inflict Ion tokens instead of damage. So in this scenario where there is one uncancelled hit from an Ion Cannon attack by an attacker Midnight has locked, midnight would gain one ion token and take no damage.
  24. Yes, Lando's Millenium Falcon (Title) is very flexible. The title would trigger at any opportunity where the status of the shield charges needs to be checked to see if they are active or not (such as taking damage or whether a ship is shielded or not).
  25. Yes skilled bombardier can be used to increase the template selected. This sequence would be 1) You go to drop the crew using a 1 straight. 2) Skilled Bombardier triggers allowing you to use a 2 straight. 3) Drop-Seat triggers from the drop with a straight template, allowing you to use a 2 bank instead. 4) You can then use that 2 bank to drop the device or align said 2 bank with the side hashes to drop instead.
