When and what am I allowed to measure?
Negoldar replied to Isotop's topic in Star Wars: Shatterpoint Rules Questions
So long as you limit yourself to no more than one range tool and one movement tool at a time, yes, you may measure anything at any time. -
Measurement questions.
Negoldar replied to Sliski's topic in Star Wars: Shatterpoint Rules Questions
There are two types of tools: movement and range tools. Movement tools consist of the Dash and the Advance tool. Range tools consist of the Range 2, 3, 4, and 5 tools. You may use one of each type at the same time. You could have the Range 2 or Range 5 on the table at the same time as the Advance tool.- 6 replies

Jango Fett Not So Fast dice modification
Negoldar replied to Ogrez's topic in Star Wars: Shatterpoint Rules Questions
Defense dice are rolled during the resolution of an attack. Not So Fast’s effect does not make an attack. It uses attack dice to determine the strength of its effect. You could not use a focus action to add an additional die because it not an attack. -

Multiple conditions and wounding.
Negoldar replied to HazMatt's topic in Star Wars: Shatterpoint Rules Questions
That's right. Wounded characters cannot take more damage. Damage from a duplicate condition will be applied immediately, skipping the Damage Pool. See below- 7 replies

Yes. The Damage from Vader's Fury is lost in this scenario. The Combat Action does not end until after the second attack is made. Deflect and Riposte are usable against ranged and melee attacks, respectively. The attack granted by Mind Trick will be one of those and originate from the character that triggered Mind Trick. After the Mind Trick attack, the Combat Action will end. General Anakin Skywalker could use his I'm Going to End This ability at this time.

Negoldar replied to Inside the DANGER room's topic in Marvel: Crisis Protocol Rules Questions
Nothing. He cannot be Pushed towards himself and has Immunity (Incinerate). Right. He can be chosen to be affected by the superpower. -
Sacrifice and stealth
Negoldar replied to BlackenedHeart's topic in Marvel: Crisis Protocol Rules Questions
The attack does not end. The check for Stealth happens before Sacrifice is played and you do not go back to that step after Sacrifice is played. -
Moving the struggle token
Negoldar replied to Frankber's topic in Star Wars: Shatterpoint Rules Questions
Only the active player scores at the end of the turn. The Struggle token will move 3 spaces toward the active player’s side. -

You can reserve once per turn. In order to use Well, I Guess I'm in Charge, Now, you need to reserve the B1 Battle Droids. This prevents you from reserving another Order Card on this turn.

Mandolorians are stronger together and pinned
Negoldar replied to CahoonM's topic in Star Wars: Shatterpoint Rules Questions
Yes they do. -
They will not have Advanced, Dashed, or Climbed. If they attempted to do so as part of a move action, the Strained will trigger. If it was granted by some other effect, it will not unless that effect triggers the Strained.

They will not have satisfied the trigger for Strained in this scenario so they will not take the damage and it will not be removed.

timing of strain
Negoldar replied to EvincarPresto's topic in Star Wars: Shatterpoint Rules Questions
They will resolve the effect of the Strained condition after the Saturation Fire ability resolves. They will not be able to resolve the attack as it will Wound them before they can finish it. -
Pinned and Strained
Negoldar replied to Inside the DANGER room's topic in Star Wars: Shatterpoint Rules Questions
Correct. The Pinned will trigger to prevent the Jump. The Strained condition will not trigger as its trigger has not been fulfilled. It depends on the source of the movement. See below. Yes, the Strained will remain in place. Yes. Pinned is removed in this case and the Strained remains. For the Identity example: She will Remove the Pinned. The Strained will remain on her because she has not done anything that will trigger it. For the Reactive example: Yes. Both effects will resolve. The Pinned stops the Advance. The Strained triggers in response to the Reactive ability being used. For the Active (self) example: Yes. Both effects will resolve. The Pinned stops the Dash. The Strained triggers in response to the Reactive ability being used. For the Active (other) example: Yes. The Advance is prevented by the Pinned. Nothing has occurred yet that will trigger Strained. The condition removal then activates and the Strained is removed.
