Chains of Cyttorak
Negoldar replied to Inside the DANGER room's topic in Marvel: Crisis Protocol Rules Questions
Nothing. He cannot be Pushed towards himself and has Immunity (Incinerate). Right. He can be chosen to be affected by the superpower. -
Sacrifice and stealth
Negoldar replied to BlackenedHeart's topic in Marvel: Crisis Protocol Rules Questions
The attack does not end. The check for Stealth happens before Sacrifice is played and you do not go back to that step after Sacrifice is played. -
Moving the struggle token
Negoldar replied to Frankber's topic in Star Wars: Shatterpoint Rules Questions
Only the active player scores at the end of the turn. The Struggle token will move 3 spaces toward the active player’s side. -

You can reserve once per turn. In order to use Well, I Guess I'm in Charge, Now, you need to reserve the B1 Battle Droids. This prevents you from reserving another Order Card on this turn.

Mandolorians are stronger together and pinned
Negoldar replied to CahoonM's topic in Star Wars: Shatterpoint Rules Questions
Yes they do. -
They will not have Advanced, Dashed, or Climbed. If they attempted to do so as part of a move action, the Strained will trigger. If it was granted by some other effect, it will not unless that effect triggers the Strained.

They will not have satisfied the trigger for Strained in this scenario so they will not take the damage and it will not be removed.

timing of strain
Negoldar replied to EvincarPresto's topic in Star Wars: Shatterpoint Rules Questions
They will resolve the effect of the Strained condition after the Saturation Fire ability resolves. They will not be able to resolve the attack as it will Wound them before they can finish it. -
Pinned and Strained
Negoldar replied to Inside the DANGER room's topic in Star Wars: Shatterpoint Rules Questions
Correct. The Pinned will trigger to prevent the Jump. The Strained condition will not trigger as its trigger has not been fulfilled. It depends on the source of the movement. See below. Yes, the Strained will remain in place. Yes. Pinned is removed in this case and the Strained remains. For the Identity example: She will Remove the Pinned. The Strained will remain on her because she has not done anything that will trigger it. For the Reactive example: Yes. Both effects will resolve. The Pinned stops the Advance. The Strained triggers in response to the Reactive ability being used. For the Active (self) example: Yes. Both effects will resolve. The Pinned stops the Dash. The Strained triggers in response to the Reactive ability being used. For the Active (other) example: Yes. The Advance is prevented by the Pinned. Nothing has occurred yet that will trigger Strained. The condition removal then activates and the Strained is removed. -
Expertise results that change a Critical to a Failure will not function on Strikes.

Tournament Setup Order and Choosing Sides
Negoldar replied to J Chav ATLAS's topic in Star Wars: Shatterpoint Rules Questions
The Showdown documents outline the differences. The organizer sets up the terrain. The rest will be as written in the core rulebook (with any other applicable exceptions in the Showdown documents or created by the organizer). The Showdown documents do not change how selecting a board edge works so you can choose any side. However, event organizers might restrict this at their discretion.- 1 reply

All attacks go through the attack timing which does include defense rolls. Yes. When Tactical Network grants an attack to another character that attack will proceed through the entire attack timing chart including a new defense roll.
-
It triggers for each target if the proper results are rolled.

Hell on Wheels + climbing
Negoldar replied to sumo55's topic in Marvel: Crisis Protocol Rules Questions
No. When a character Advances the movement tool cannot overlap terrain features that have a size greater than the character. Next time, one question per thread please. The Slow special condition prevents a character from using any movement tool other than the Slow movement tool when Advancing. When Hell on Wheels is used, the movement tool used can normally be any tool with a size equal to or less than the specified tool. Slow eliminates the option to use the longer tools.- 2 replies

Negoldar replied to veddermatic's topic in Star Wars: Shatterpoint Rules Questions

No Mercy while wounded
Negoldar replied to NewPalpatine's topic in Star Wars: Shatterpoint Rules Questions
Yes. Innate abilities have no cost and are always in effect. The limits on their use are described in their rules text. -
Crisis are not enemy effects so they will not cause a character to gain Power when they deal damage.
