  1. A character is engaged by an enemy when they are within Range 2 of them. This will happen before the Ingress Point is used.
  2. Appendix A lays out the turn timing. Lord Maul's activation is step 5. His removal is step 10. He is still on the table and able to use his Innate abilities until that point.
  3. Yes. This Power is gained at the same time as the normal Power gain during the Power Phase.
  4. No. It takes 10 damage and will be Wounded (once) after receiving the damage.
  5. Yes. You can. Note the rules regarding how terrain feature size affects that.
  6. Yes. The terrain does not move along the tool. The first terrain feature or character that is contacted by the tool will be the one the thrown terrain feature hits which will trigger the collision.
  7. First player can choose any side of the table. This is done before setting up the battlefield.
  8. General Obi-Wan Kenobi’s Knowledge and Defense is an effect that will override the relevant core rules.
  9. No. Dice modification happens after Critical dice are added to the roll. No. An allied Midnight Sons character is the only character able to play it. If they are not Midnight Sons characters, no, they may not.
  10. The Wounds inflicted tiebreaker counts all Wounds gained over the course of the game.
  11. Yes. You can spend the Force to draw another card and send the Shatterpoint card back to the deck. Since your Order Deck is empty, you will need to Refresh it by shuffling the current discard and Refresh the Force Pool. Next, draw the next Order Card from the Order Deck to activate, and then shuffle the Shatterpoint card back into the Order Deck.
  12. It’s not a hidden step. The attack is complete once step 10E has concluded. The combat action is still in progress however. This is most obvious with a multiple character Unit but is still true for a Unit with only one character. Once the combat action is complete General Anakin Skywalker can use I’m Going to End This. Yes, he would.
  13. This part of the ability is limiting the amount of Healing available to the Unit. It does not limit all Healing granted by this ability to a single character.
  14. Reactive abilities and Innate abilities with similar triggers are used when they say they are used and typically resolve when used. The answer to your question is “yes” but that answer is misleading as we see here: No. Count Dooku, Separatist Leader cannot use Twice the Pride, Double the Fall in this case as the requirements of the ability (the allied character being within Range 2 of him) are not met at the time he would use it (step 10D). If he had been able to use it before being affected by Force Push, he would then be able to resolve it so long as he was able to do so. For example, if he is Pinned and unable to advance back into range, he would not be able to make a melee attack targeting Asajj Ventress, Sith Assassin.
  15. Yes, they will gain control of it. Both players will benefit from Inquisitorial Mandate so the Appendix A timing rules apply. The active player will resolve Inquisitorial Mandate first and gain control of it. Then the inactive player will resolve their Inquisitorial Mandate to take control of it. At the end of the turn, the inactive player will have control of it.
  16. Yes. If the shoved character would not be able to fit and balance in its final position, it cannot end there. Move the character back to the last position it would be able to occupy and end the movement there. In some cases this will mean the character will not physically move.
