Alien Ship Power Core Damage
Negoldar replied to roguemind28's topic in Marvel: Crisis Protocol Rules Questions
No. They would be able to reduce that damage by 1. -
Yes. Those two abilities share the same timing. You can declare and resolve them individually in the order of your choosing. If after resolving Out for Blood you have enough Power to use Assassin’s Step, you can use it.

First Player battlefield side choice timing
Negoldar replied to MaPhi's topic in Star Wars: Shatterpoint Rules Questions
This will depend on whether or not you are following the Showdown or Premier Showdown rules. In the Showdown or Premier Showdown rules, players do not set up the battlefield themselves. They would choose sides, then setup the mission on the battlefield present at their table. -
Players should not be measuring in this fashion. You may not subdivide the measurement tools in this way. You are effectively creating a new, non-AMG provided measuring tool by doing this. You also can’t premeasure using a characters base, which you are effectively doing in this scenario, albeit through a workaround.

It depends on the type of movement and how the players have defined the terrain on the battlefield. For some movements, for example Push and Place, the moving character will move along the tool, and depending on agreed terrain definitions, possibly stop when it contacts the terrain you have described. For other movements, Advance, Climb, Dash, Place and Jump for example, characters do not move along the specified tool. If the placement of the tool is correct (taking into account the definitions of the terrain the players agreed to at the beginning of the game), the moving character is picked up and then put back onto the battlefield in contact with the tool. If the character fits in the desired final position, it makes it there.

Aurra Sing: Expendable Distraction and Protection
Negoldar replied to gon's topic in Star Wars: Shatterpoint Rules Questions
No. Protection applies when a character is defending and is about to receive damage from the Damage Pool. That is not happening here so Protection does nothing.- 2 replies

Two movement actions in same turn
Negoldar replied to Joakinmon's topic in Star Wars: Shatterpoint Rules Questions
Advance and Dash are not actions. They are types of movement. When a character is activating it can do two actions. Only one of those actions can be a move action to Advance, Climb, or Dash. Abilities may grant movement that is not part of a move action and those can be used along with a move action. -

Mandalorians are stronger together
Negoldar replied to hingard's topic in Star Wars: Shatterpoint Rules Questions
Mandalorians Are Stronger Together triggers when a move action ends within the specified range of another Mandalorian. Jet Pack does not involve a move action so it will not trigger this abiilty. -

No. Only the player who is playing the card will know what is in each pile. The opposing player will not find out until after selecting one of the two piles. -
