  1. The Primary Unit is always first. The other two Units may be deployed in the controlling player’s order of preference.
  2. No. Determining the angle for toward/away interactions cannot be determined before it is called for in the relevant rules.
  3. Tony Stark is the attacker. The Overcharge attack’s rules apply to the attacker.
  4. Maybe. The thrower decides the order the characters involved in the collision suffer damage.
  5. It gives 1 Power and removes 1 Damage when activating near multiple active Leaderships.
  6. It must apply to the holder of the Chimichangas token.
  7. Jedi Master Mace Windu’s Shatterpoint ability does not grant him an attack. A character cannot use a given action more than once in an activation.
  8. No, there is not a lexicon of Tags. Yes, you are bound to existing Tags.
  9. Neither of these effects say the character changes controller so the Grunt character would not be removed. There are no effects in the game that change a character’s controller at this time.
  10. Jet Pack does not grant a move action so it will not trigger Mandalorians are Stronger Together. You cannot use an action twice in a single activation. Mandalorians are Stronger Together grants a focus action.
  11. Protection applies before Damage is taken. What’s The Matter, Too Fast For You? applies when a character would take Damage. Protection reduces the Damage Pool before What’s The Matter, Too Fast For You? is used. Ahsoka Tano, Jedi No More takes 5 Damage and her attacker takes 4 in this scenario.
  12. Tags are listed at the bottom of a Unit’s Stat Card. You may choose one of those.
  13. When both players have an effect that resolves in a given timing step of an attack, the attacker resolves first, then the defender. In your example, Magneto’s player must play their rerolling effect before the defender.
  14. The rulebook does describe proper movement tool usage. It is found in the rules for the particular movement. It does not. As Thoras has said above the rules describe unimpeded movement. A movement that is not allowed when unimpeded does not suddenly become allowed when the character does not actually move.
  15. No. This would violate the rule that the miniature must be clearly identifiable as the intended miniature. (This is part of the Showdown rules.)
  16. This is covered on page 22 of the rulebook. A player may have 1 card in the Reserve at a time.
  17. When a character is being Pushed or Thrown, they will move in a straight line along the tool. If the tool is not placed in a way that keeps the character within the angle, the character will cross the angled tool and violate that rule.
  18. No. It cannot. In order for the attacker to take damage, Viper has to roll defense dice.
  19. Obi-Wan Kenobi, Out of Hiding has a Reposition in his Combat Tree, not a Place. Each box in a Combat Tree is resolved before moving to the next box. In this scenario, the Reposition will resolve before the Heals can happen. Measure for the Heals from Obi-Wan’s current location when they resolve.
  20. Yes. The rules for advancing describe how it is done. The rules for overlapping and terrain cover where miniatures may be placed.
  21. Yes it does. All attacks require range and LOS to be fulfilled unless explicitly stated otherwise.
  22. For both of these questions the answer is “No.” The miniature for Captain America (Steve Rogers) that comes in the original core box set is unique to the card that comes with it. The same is true for Captain America, First Avenger, Iron Man, Invincible Iron Man, and the rest of the characters with multiple versions. Using these miniatures for other characters would break the third bullet in the Miniatures section of the Player Responsibilities:
  23. No. The last character your opponent has without an Activated or Dazed token is a Grunt in this case. At the beginning of their turn the Grunt will gain an Activated token without activating. In your scenario, you activated the last character so Priority will move to your opponent next Round.
