Hello, Jedward, As you quote, "A unit may not begin the first round of the game in base contact with an unclaimed objective token." A command card is selected, revealed, and resolved throughout the various steps of the Command Phase, which are all during the first round and therefore after it has begun.. A command card that provides units a free move during the Resolve Command Cards Effects step, such as No Time for Sorrows, will indeed allow a unit to move into base contact with an unclaimed objective token, as it is not the beginning of the first round. Hope this helps, Seth

Hello, Jcub! Luke Skywalker's Son of Skywalker command card allows him to perform a free attack action "after" his first attack. "After" means after the first attack is completely resolved. Luke Skywalker cannot use other actions or free actions between the resolution of his first attack and the free attack action from Son of Skywalker without forgoing the free attack action opportunity. Hope this helps, Seth

Hello, If a single unit is targeted by two separate copies of the Vigilance upgrade card, it will not remove 1 Dodge token, as per the text on the card(s). The effect does not "stack" to allow the unit to keep 2 Dodges. Hope this helps, Seth

Hello, Yes. The All In command card, as stated on the card, checks for the number of success after the Reroll Dice step, when the Uncanny Luck keyword is applied to reroll dice. Notably, this is prior to the Convert Defensive Surges step. Refer to the Attack Timing process for further detail. Hope this helps, Seth

Basing objectives during deployment
Seth replied to hunter2204's topic in Star Wars: Legion Rules Questions
Hello, Hunter2204, Per the Objective Tokens entry on page 19, "All objective tokens are placed with their unclaimed side faceup unless otherwise specified." Objectives are placed with their unclaimed side faceup and referred to as unclaimed objective tokens whether or not a Claim objective action is introduced in the objective card or special scenario in play. In short, yes that includes objective tokens used in the Sabotage the Moisture Vaporators objective card. Hope that helps, Seth- 1 reply

Is the numerical value of cover capped?
Seth replied to PatV's topic in Star Wars: Legion Rules Questions
Hello, PatV, The Cover entry on page 14 likely has the answer you seek! Light cover has a value of 1, and heavy cover has a value of 2. I'll draw particular attention to the line: "The numerical value of cover cannot be increased above 2 for any reason." Hope this helps! Seth -
Hello, Platypus, You are correct. A unit with the Low Profile keyword may cancel one additional hit while benefiting from cover. Good job! Seth

ISB Investigation - Sorry About the Mess
Seth replied to CODADsunshine's topic in Star Wars: Legion Rules Questions
Hello, No, Sorry About the Mess is a 0-pip card. It is only treated as a 1-pip card, as stated by the card, "when building a command hand." The player playing ISB Investigation will have to declare 0 as a number to put aside 0-pip cards. Hope this helps, Seth- 1 reply

Hi, CODAD, Boba Fett's Whipcord Launcher command card states that he may perform moves while engaged with a unit with 1 or more immobilized tokens. If Boba Fett is engaged with additional units, with or without immobilize tokens, that clause is still true. In your example, yes, Boba Fett may perform a move. Hope this helps, Seth

Silhouette for models with flight stands
Seth replied to kevinclow's topic in Star Wars: Legion Rules Questions
Hi, Kevin, All existing Mandalorian units are Trooper units. They will use the trooper silhouette given on page 27, under Line of Sight. The T-47 Airspeeder is a Repulsor Vehicle. These have unique rules for determining their silhouette, covered in Appendix B on page 38. Hope this helps, Seth- 1 reply

Ace up his sleeve and Mercenaries
Seth replied to AussieEngineeringCaptain's topic in Star Wars: Legion Rules Questions
Hello, Aussie, The text of Ace Up His Sleeve, in the event it is revealed and discarded from your command hand or contingencies, does not state that Lando is issuing an order to the selected unit. As the order is not being issued by a unit, it may be issued to a mercenary unit regardless of affiliation. Hope this helps, Seth- 1 reply

There Is No Try & Authoritative
Seth replied to TheCalicoKid's topic in Star Wars: Legion Rules Questions
Hello, CalicoKid, There is No Try specifies that: "If Yoda issues an order to a trooper unit, it gains..." Authoritative reads: If Padme Amidala uses her Authoritative keyword to move the order elsewhere, that unit has been issued from Padme Amidala, not from Yoda. In your example, neither unit will gain the keywords and tokens referenced on There is No Try. Hope this helps! Seth- 1 reply

Mandalorian Super Commando Rocket
Seth replied to TheVael's topic in Star Wars: Legion Rules Questions
Hello, TheVael, As specified on page 10, "If only a single number is shown, then that is the maximum range for that effect." Super Commando Jetpack Rockets may target an enemy unit at a range up to and including range 4. Hope this helps, Seth -
Hello, MaPhi, You have read the entries correctly. Dauntless is intended to have the same timing as Compel; the suppression and free move will occur at the beginning of the Perform Actions step. This will be made more clear in a future update. Thanks!

Emplacement Troopers, displacement and moving.
Seth replied to Mdublade's topic in Star Wars: Legion Rules Questions
Yes. Correct. Creature troopers displace troopers while moving through them, and cannot be displaced or moved through. Emplacement Troopers can move through troopers. They cannot displace units. They cannot be displaced or moved through. All of this information, for other readers, came from Appendix B: Unit Types, beginning on page 36. Hope this helps, Seth- 1 reply

Ground Vehicles as LOS Blockers
Seth replied to ryfterek's topic in Star Wars: Legion Rules Questions
Hello, Ryfterek, The silhouette of ground vehicles blocks LOS. This does mean completely. If LOS to a miniature is completely blocked, the miniature is obscured. This is true whether or not the attacking unit leader is in base contact with the terrain responsible. Refer to the Apply Dodge and Cover step on page 30, under Determine Number of Obscured Miniatures, for the full rule. Hope this helps, Seth- 1 reply
