  1. Hello, A unit reduces its maximum speed by 1 to move through or into difficult terrain. This is not exclusive to the unit leader - if any minis are placed into difficult terrain, the unit has moved into difficult terrain, and would have to reduce its speed. Hope this helps, Seth
  2. Hello, Yes, as the unit marked by the Bounty keyword was defeated by one of Cad Bane's attacks or effects. Hope this helps, Seth
  3. Hello, No. The Comms Relay upgrade card instructs you to pick a unit at range 1-2, then issue it an order. The Long-Range Comlink allows the equipped unit to be issued orders as if they were in range of the nominated unit, but will have no affect on the specified range of Comms Relay. Hope that helps, Seth
  4. Hello! Refer to the "Determine Number of Obscured Miniatures" step, part of "Apply Dodge and Cover" when resolving an attack, for when and how to check if miniatures are obscured. In brief, if LOS to a mini is blocked by terrain (that the attacking mini isn't touching), it will be obscured by that terrain and receive cover from it - and, in this case, benefit from Camouflage as well! Hope this helps, Seth
  5. Hello, A silhouette is placed beside the base, touching it as instructed. Hope this helps, Seth
  6. Hello, IG-88's Focused on the Kill does not allow the defending unit in question to spend tokens. As a shield token is not spent, but flipped, it may still be used in this instance. Hope this helps, Seth
  7. Hello, As stated under Terrain Height: A unit with Speeder 1 may move over terrain equal to or less than Height 1, as determined from its present level. Hope this helps, Seth
  8. Hello! Yes. The command cards in question - Ploy, Aggression, and Discretion - do not specify a particular unit needs to be in your army, nor that they are exclusive to a particular faction. You may not play Aggression or Discretion, as the card text specifies you must nominate a mercenary commander unit, and you do not have one to nominate. You may nominate a mercenary operative for the Ploy card, as it specifically states you may do so. As Aggression and Discretion require a mercenary commander, a mercenary operative may not be the nominated commander. Hope that helps! Seth
  9. Hello, The Reposition keyword provides a pivot before or after a standard move. As a pivot is a type of move, the unit will have to be fully on the battlefield when it is complete and before moving onto a standard move. Hope this helps, Seth
  10. Hello, "When a unit performs a move action, it may choose to reverse instead of making another movement." A vehicle with the Climbing Vehicle keyword, such as an AT-RT, may either reverse or climb; not both! Hope this helps, Seth
  11. Hello, "To perform a climb, a unit performs a move as normal." For notched base units such as vehicles with the Climbing Vehicle keyword, this does mean using their notches to make a speed-1 move that may overlap obstacle terrain of the appropriate height. Hope this helps, Seth
  12. Hello, A reverse may be performed when a notched base unit of the appropriate unit type would perform a move action. A withdraw action provides a speed-1 (standard) move. It may not be replaced with a reverse. Note that a creature trooper may still use the Reposition keyword before or after this move. Hope that helps, Seth
  13. Hello, Boba Fett’s A Simple Man command card provides a unit a speed-1 move. As it is not a move action, it may not be used to embark or disembark. Seth
  14. Hello, Players may apply the most recent Setup process from the Core Rulebook to their Skirmish games. Seth
  15. Hello, As per the Self-Destruct weapon keyword, the unit is defeated after the self-destruct attacks are completed. As IG-11 is unable to perform attacks while transported, no self-destruct attack is made or considered to be completed, and IG-11 will not be defeated. Hope this helps, Seth
  16. Hello! Part of the mini ('s silhouette) is enough to satisfy the conditions for vertical cohesion. Both pictured examples show legal unit cohesion. For the second (orange) example, C is the appropriate way to determine the unit leader's silhouette. Hope this helps, Seth
  17. Hello, LOS cannot be drawn to or from a unit transported by a unit with the Transport X: Closed keyword. As the Exemplar keyword requires LOS between units, a transported unit with Exemplar will be unable to share tokens, as no units can draw LOS to them. Hope this helps, Seth
  18. Hello, Yes, as Boba Fett has defeated an enemy unit marked with a victory token with the Bounty keyword, he will move the victory token from Chewbacca to his unit card. Hope this helps, Seth
  19. Hello! Yes, a unit that is transported can gain tokens as normal, including from effects such as the Independent keyword. However, note that the Aid keyword requires both range and LOS to the eligible friendly unit to be used, and LOS cannot be drawn to and from units transported by a vehicle with the Transport: Closed keyword. Yes, you will measure Inspire range from the transport. Hope this helps, Seth
  20. Hello, That is correct. The High Velocity keyword does not allowing the defending unit to spend dodge tokens. In your example, as Obi-Wan Kenobi is not the defending unit, he may spend dodge tokens when eligible per his Guardian and Soresu Mastery keywords. Hope this helps, Seth
  21. Hello, Yes, a compulsory move counts towards the total of non-pivot moves a transport has performed when determining the number of actions a transported unit will be allowed when disembarking. Hope this helps, Seth
  22. Hello! The Hover: Ground keyword states that the unit in question is treated as as a ground vehicles by other units, and for all other game effects it is still considered a repulsor vehicle. In this case, the repulsor vehicle will not set off any condition tokens placed out by the Minefield condition card, as it is a repulsor vehicle. Hope this helps, Seth
  23. Hello, Repulsor vehicles with or without the Speeder keyword may still be affected by difficult terrain. In the case of Speeder X units, if the terrain is height X or lower, they may ignore it as per the keyword; if it is taller than Height X, they may not ignore it and will interact with it normally. This does include having their movement speed reduced, in the case of difficult terrain. Hope this helps, Seth
  24. Hello, In both of your examples, the Dewback Rider may not use Relentless. The Relentless keyword only triggers after a move action, and the Force Push upgrade card only provides a speed-1 move. As per the "Abilities the Provide Moves" entry on page 25, a move provided by such an ability is not a move action unless specifically stated to be. Hope this helps! Seth
  25. Hello, A Bane token is revealed after an enemy moves, deploys, or is placed in range of the Bane token. In your example, the enemy unit has moved into range 1 of the Bane token - flipping it - but not in range 1 of Cad Bane until after the move and token have been resolved, so the standby token may not be spent at that time. Hope this helps, Seth
