Hello, Yes, as Boba Fett has defeated an enemy unit marked with a victory token with the Bounty keyword, he will move the victory token from Chewbacca to his unit card. Hope this helps, Seth

Question with Closed Transports with SC
Seth replied to Raikos's topic in Star Wars: Legion Rules Questions
Hello! Yes, a unit that is transported can gain tokens as normal, including from effects such as the Independent keyword. However, note that the Aid keyword requires both range and LOS to the eligible friendly unit to be used, and LOS cannot be drawn to and from units transported by a vehicle with the Transport: Closed keyword. Yes, you will measure Inspire range from the transport. Hope this helps, Seth- 1 reply

Hello, That is correct. The High Velocity keyword does not allowing the defending unit to spend dodge tokens. In your example, as Obi-Wan Kenobi is not the defending unit, he may spend dodge tokens when eligible per his Guardian and Soresu Mastery keywords. Hope this helps, Seth

Saber-class Tank and Minefield
Seth replied to Isulindi's topic in Star Wars: Legion Rules Questions
Hello! The Hover: Ground keyword states that the unit in question is treated as as a ground vehicles by other units, and for all other game effects it is still considered a repulsor vehicle. In this case, the repulsor vehicle will not set off any condition tokens placed out by the Minefield condition card, as it is a repulsor vehicle. Hope this helps, Seth- 1 reply

Repulsor vehicles/speeders through difficult terrain
Seth replied to KananJarrus's topic in Star Wars: Legion Rules Questions
Hello, Repulsor vehicles with or without the Speeder keyword may still be affected by difficult terrain. In the case of Speeder X units, if the terrain is height X or lower, they may ignore it as per the keyword; if it is taller than Height X, they may not ignore it and will interact with it normally. This does include having their movement speed reduced, in the case of difficult terrain. Hope this helps, Seth- 1 reply

Does force pull trigger free actions?
Seth replied to TwIsTSlow's topic in Star Wars: Legion Rules Questions
Hello, In both of your examples, the Dewback Rider may not use Relentless. The Relentless keyword only triggers after a move action, and the Force Push upgrade card only provides a speed-1 move. As per the "Abilities the Provide Moves" entry on page 25, a move provided by such an ability is not a move action unless specifically stated to be. Hope this helps! Seth- 1 reply

Hello, A Bane token is revealed after an enemy moves, deploys, or is placed in range of the Bane token. In your example, the enemy unit has moved into range 1 of the Bane token - flipping it - but not in range 1 of Cad Bane until after the move and token have been resolved, so the standby token may not be spent at that time. Hope this helps, Seth
-
Hello, As the Bane Token and the Minefield condition token have the same timing (after a unit moves, etc.) and are not opposing player effects, they will be triggered in either order, chosen by the player whose turn it is. Note that, in the case of the Minefield condition, it "triggering" does not necessarily means it will actually detonate; players should roll as normal. If one token defeats the unit that moved into range and LOS, the trigger has still occurred for the other token and it will still be resolved, detonating if applicable. Hope this helps, Seth

Climb and Expert Climber heights

Hello, The Aggressive Tactics upgrade card may be used "when you are the nominated commander." This means it must be that character who was nominated to give orders using a command card that round. However, units that received orders from other sources, like the aforementioned Coordinate, may still receive a surge token per the effects of Aggressive Tactics, so long as the character with it equipped was nominated to issue orders. Hope this helps, Seth

Hello, Measure vertical distance, as per the Terrain Height entry, from the level on which the unit's silhouette rests. This will often be the table level, but may be different if a unit is on terrain. An eligible unit may perform a climb move up to height 1, or to a level roughly 6" above their current height. For your bonus question, refer to the height of the unit leader, as that is the mini used to perform moves. Hope this helps, Seth

Hello, No, effects of Jump X and a climb move do not combine to allow a unit to move over terrain great than its Jump X keyword value. Hope this helps, Seth
-
Hello, Yes, that is accurate! Hope this helps, Seth

Hello, You may not measure cohesion through obstacle terrain taller than the unit's silhouette, as it could not perform a speed-1 move in that fashion. Hope this helps, Seth

Field Commander and Mercenary Commanders
Seth replied to thestripyjumper's topic in Star Wars: Legion Rules Questions
Hello! Yes, as you have ignored the minimum commander requirement, and mercenaries do not count towards the minimum number of ranks to build an army. Note a second mercenary commander unit requires a copy of the Allies of Convenience keyword in most circumstances. Field Commander units only provide a courage effect if they are marked with a commander token. And they are only marked as a commander token upon deployment if you have no Commander units in your army. No, because you do have Commander units in your army. Hope this helps, Seth- 1 reply

Compulsory Move
Seth replied to AussieEngineeringCaptain's topic in Star Wars: Legion Rules Questions
Hello, When a unit would make a compulsory move, it must perform a move at its maximum speed. If it cannot do so, it may perform a partial move as instructed. This does mean an attempt must be made to make the maximum move - in your example, bend the movement tool if and as necessary to complete a move at maximum speed. Hope this helps, Seth- 1 reply

Ground vehicles providing cover
Seth replied to dwitters's topic in Star Wars: Legion Rules Questions
Hello, Your example is accurate. "If LOS to any part of the defending miniature’s silhouette is blocked by terrain other than terrain in base contact with the attacking unit leader and a part of the silhouette is still visible, the defending miniature is obscured." - Page 30, Determine Number of Obscured Miniatures As the Rebel Trooper unit leader is touching the (presumably friendly) AT-RT, treated as area terrain, and can still draw LOS to one or more partially obscured Stormtroopers, the Stormtroopers will not have cover. Note if LOS to an enemy mini is completely blocked, that mini has cover, regardless of whether or not the unit leader were touching the terrain in question. Hope this helps, Seth -
Din Djarin can use the Amban Rifle "through" Grogu?
Seth replied to Mandaluri's topic in Star Wars: Legion Rules Questions

Hello, Yes, if creature troopers are obscured by terrain determined to give them cover, they will have cover. There is no rule they must be at least 50% obscured for this unit type. Correct, units may not end a withdraw move in base contact with an enemy mini. They may use their Relentless keyword to make a ranged attack after a withdraw move. Hope this helps, Seth

Complete the Mission and Dauntless
Seth replied to Adro's topic in Star Wars: Legion Rules Questions
