Annihilation Looms vs Hold At Any Cost timing
Seth replied to dustandechos's topic in Star Wars: Legion Rules Questions
Hello, Refer to the timing lists in Resolve Command Card Effects. As both cards do not have a specific timing, they are resolved in step 2, starting with the Blue player. Both of your scenarios are the proper sequence of events. No, the Cunning keyword has no effect on the outcomes. Strong work!- 1 reply

Hello, If the attack cannot be made, it was "wasted" in that it is not resolved. The unit may make another action instead. If a unit with AI: Attack does not have any eligible enemy targets, it will get its two actions as normal. Hope this helps, Seth

Enemy Effects - Minefield
Seth replied to CODADsunshine's topic in Star Wars: Legion Rules Questions
Hello, The Minefield condition card is not an enemy card, and its effects are not enemy effects. If a condition token detonates in range of a unit carrying a hostage objective token, the attack will be resolved as normal, including during the first round.- 1 reply

Obi-wan Kenobi - Situational Awareness
Seth replied to CODADsunshine's topic in Star Wars: Legion Rules Questions
Hello, The Outmaneuver keyword allows a unit to spend dodge tokens to cancel <critical> results during the Apply Dodge and Cover step. Soresu Mastery & Guardian X are resolved during the Modify Attack Dice step. Outmaneuver will not have any effect.- 1 reply

Force push a unit with immobilize tokens
Seth replied to szymciu's topic in Star Wars: Legion Rules Questions
Hello, Immobilize tokens affect a unit's maximum speed. An ability that provides moves, such as Force Push, provides a move of a certain speed, regardless of a unit's maximum speed. Note that a unit with a maximum speed of 0 and at least one immobilize token cannot perform moves of any kind. In combination & for clarity: A speed-2 unit with one Immobilize token can perform a speed-1 move as a result of Force Push. That same speed-2 unit with two immobilize tokens could not perform moves of any kind, including as a result of Force Push. I hope that helps! Seth- 1 reply

Transport clarifications
Seth replied to halfadozensixes's topic in Star Wars: Legion Rules Questions
Hello, A unit eligible to be transported is one that can make an embark or disembark. As you list: units with a speed of 0, the Stationary keyword, a claimed objective token, or the creature trooper unit type may not embark or disembark. It is not legal to deploy a creature trooper within a transport. They are no longer transported. Units that begin the game transported may disembark via a disembark move. Hope this helps, Seth- 1 reply

Yes. The objective card does not specify that only trooper unit leaders may be selected during Setup. No. Each unit may not have more than 1 claimed objective token. A detonated objective token is removed from the battlefield. Yes. Units with the Incognito keyword cannot be used to satisfy the Victory Conditions on an objective card; but this is Setup! An unclaimed token may only be detonated by a player if it was flipped to its unclaimed side by a Drop action from a unit they control. This token has been flipped to its unclaimed side due to the claiming unit being defeated and is ineligible to be detonated by either player.

Hello, Standby tokens are spent when a unit in the appropriate range and LOS attacks, moves, or performs an action. Minis or units being placed as a result of the Scatter keyword or being displaced are none of these and there is not an opportunity to spend a Standby token.

Fire Support and Standbys
Seth replied to TwirlingTwister's topic in Star Wars: Legion Rules Questions
Hello, A unit with a Standby token loses that token if it moves, attack, performs an action, or receives a suppression. Performing a Fire Support is none of these and a unit that flips its token facedown utilizing the Fire Support keyword will retain any Standby token it has. Hope this helps, Seth -

Hello, Panicked units cannot be used to satisfy the Victory Conditions on objective cards. As the Bounty keyword is not a Victory Condition on an objective card, a panicked unit with a victory token gained as a result of Bounty will reward its player a victory token as normal for the keyword. Hope this helps, Seth

Hello! Both. The Speed-1 movement speed is native to the Climb move action and has nothing to do with a unit's printed movement or reducing it. As per the Moving Through Terrain entry on page 25, "If they wish to move onto, off of, or through obstacle terrain greater than the height of their silhouette...". You must peform a Climb move to "climb down." As stated above, regardless of whether or not the Obstacle terrain was deemed difficult, a unit will perform a Climb move as normal, at speed-1. The Jump X keyword states the unit can ignore terrain (meaning all types) that is height X or lower. All unit types can perform a standard move over obstacle terrain that is less than the height of their silhouette, so that is the maximum height of impassable obstacle terrain over which a repulsor vehicle may naturally move. Hope this helps, Seth
