Hello, A unit that begins its Perform Actions step panicked cannot perform any actions or free actions. Its activation still occurs. At the end of its activation, it will remove suppression as instructed, and may indeed resolve effects at the end of its activation granted by the named command cards, as none of them grant actions that would be lost due to panic. Hope this helps, Seth

Hello, No. Note the Engaged entry on Page 26: Din Djarin would have to not be engaged when declaring defenders to be able to allocate a ranged weapon to an attack pool on another target. Hope this helps, Seth

Hello, The Tactical X keyword grants X aim tokens when its unit perform a standard move. When a unit performs a move action, it performs a standard move or a climb. As a climb is not a standard move, the unit will not utilize its Tactical keyword after the climb move. Hope this helps, Seth

Reckless Diversion Split Fire
Seth replied to CODADsunshine's topic in Star Wars: Legion Rules Questions
Hello, When attacking, the enemy unit must target the unit affected by Reckless Diversion as its minis are able. An enemy unit may only form a separate attack pool on an alternative target if none of its remaining weapons are eligible to target a unit affected by Reckless Diversion, due to range, LOS, or otherwise. -

Seth replied to Moffka's topic in Star Wars: Legion Rules Questions
Hello, A player's army still contains no Commander units after the first Field Commander is deployed - they will both qualify. Hope that helps! Seth -

Reptilian Rampage and Embark
Seth replied to Capitan a posteriori's topic in Star Wars: Legion Rules Questions
Hello! A trooper unit may make a speed-1 embark or disembark move during a move action instead of making another movement. Bossk may indeed utilize the free move action conditionally granted by Reptilian Rampage to make a speed-1 embark move. Note that, if Bossk wishes to embark on a transport with the Transport X: Closed keyword, he will have to sacrifice an action in addition to the embark move. Hope this helps, Seth- 1 reply

You serve your master well on a panicked unit
Seth replied to Mandaluri's topic in Star Wars: Legion Rules Questions
Hello, Mandaluri, A panicked unit loses actions during its Perform Actions step, after its Rally. If Luke uses You Serve Your Master Well on a panicked unit, that unit may still perform the free action as instructed on the card. The Corps unit in question may indeed utilize the courage value of a friendly Commander at range 3, as normal. Hope that helps! Seth- 1 reply

Hello, Hover: Ground vehicles are treated as ground vehicles by other units for all LOS purposes, movement through other units, and displacement. Which is to say, they cannot move through other vehicles (barring repulsor vehicles), creatures, emplacements, or engaged troopers. Those are all units which also cannot be displaced. You are correct that those units also cannot move through a Hover: Ground vehicle, unless they have a special rule which allows them to do so. Hope this helps, Seth

Hello, Fire Support is declared during the Form Attack Pool step of the attack process. Gunslinger is resolved during Declare Additional Defenders, which instructs the attacking player to repeat steps 1 & 2 (Declare Defender & Form Attack Pool, respectively). Fire Support may indeed be used during the repeated Form Attack Pool step. Yes, Phase 1 Clone Trooper units "U1" and "U2" may each use their Fire Support keyword to add weapon dice to both attack pools formed by the Infantry Support Platform. Hope that helps! Seth

Hello! Short answer: Yes, you may disembark with Dauntless. Long answer: As per Embark and Disembark (page 51), "(...) a unit that is being transported may perform a disembark move during a move action instead of making another movement." With Dauntless, a unit "(...) may gain one suppression token to perform a free move action." Hope this helps, Seth

Hello, Yes, assuming all steps of Moving into Melee on page 26 were performed. Minis should be placed into base contact with enemy miniatures they are now in melee with; if they cannot, then they are placed in cohesion. If this is still impossible, place them as close as possible to the unit leader. Hope this helps, Seth

Hello, A unit cannot be affected by the same Smoke token more than once. A unit will not improve cover twice as a result of they and the attacking unit leader being at range 1 of the same Smoke token. Hope that helps! Seth

Hello, Dwit, The wound threshold is the printed value on the unit or upgrade card, as defined on pages 7 & 8. If a single Wookiee Warrior is visible, its unit is eligible to suffer 3 wounds from that attack, as the visible minis have a total wound threshold of 3. The number of wound tokens presently on any visible minis does not affect the total wound threshold of miniatures that are in LOS. Hope this helps, Seth

Reckless Diversion and Inconspiuous
Seth replied to zeusjus's topic in Star Wars: Legion Rules Questions
Hello, The effects of Reckless Diversion, as quoted, only apply if an enemy unit is able to perform the attack on the unit with a faceup order token. If R2-D2 has a faceup order token and Reckless Diversion in play, but at least one suppression token to enable the effects of Inconspicuous, and of course assuming at least one alternative eligible target, then that enemy unit is unable to target R2-D2. Hope this helps, Seth- 1 reply

Hello, Disarray reads: "Each player must deploy at least one unit in each of their deployment zones." Scout X reads: "After a unit with the Scout X keyword deploys..." Scout occurs after a unit deploys. A unit will have deployed in their deployment zone, per the requirement of Disarray, even if they Scout beyond it afterwards. Hope this helps! Seth

Hello, The enemy unit leader does not have to personally be at range 1 of the unit with Incognito. Your scenario is accurate: the unit may make a ranged attack at range 2 targeting a mini under the effects of Incognito so long as one or more minis are at range 1 of the Incognito unit. Good job, Seth
