  1. Hello, When Fifth Brother gains an aim token, Seventh Sister will gain a dodge token. Yes, if Fifth Brother takes an Aim action while equipped with the Offensive Stance upgrade card, he will gain two aim tokens, which means Seventh Sister will gain two dodge tokens. Hope this helps, Seth
  2. Hi there! There is no specific miniature that must be used to represented the Immobilized Vehicle unit card on the Disabled Vehicle mission. Pick whichever vehicle suits your chosen Squad and narrative!
  3. Hi there, Blank attack dice are not removed from an attack pool. For both ranged and melee attacks, players will enter the Compare Results step with all dice that have not been canceled by cover or other game effects. Hope this helps, Seth
  4. Hi there, The Standing Orders upgrade card can be readied when the equipped unit recovers. It can be readied during the End Phase as per the card text, but this is not exclusively how it may be readied! ------------------- Yes. You may exhaust and use it more than once in a given round, so long as it is readied before each use. Hope this helps, Seth
  5. Hello, Claimed objective tokens are placed after completing a move. Cohesion is the last step of a move; thus, claimed objective tokens are placed following cohesion. Option B. Place the token as close as possible to base contact with the unit leader. Hope this helps, Seth
  6. Hi there, As described in the Apply Dodge and Cover entry, canceled dice are removed from the attack pool. Hits canceled in this way are no longer in the attack pool to be improved using the Ram keyword during the Modify Attack Dice step. Hope this helps, Seth
  7. Hi there, Canceled dice are removed from the pool, as stated in the Apply Dodge and Cover entry. They are not modified to a different die facing. Canceling hits functions the same in both instances; the definition of "cancel" is given in the first step (Apply Dodge). Hope this helps, Seth
  8. Hello there, Overrun attacks, while not specifically ranged or melee attacks, are still attacks and follow the attack sequence. The first step of the attack sequence, Declare Defender, has the attacking player declare a defending unit, which must have at least one miniature in LOS to the attacking unit leader. ---------------------------------------------------- Yes. The Declare Defender step of an attack requires the attacking unit leader have LOS to at least one miniature in the defending unit. An overrun attack is performed after a move is completed. It is at this point you will declare a defender and perform the rest of the attack sequence. If the attacking unit has LOS to no enemy units it or its movement tool overlapped, it may not perform an overrun attack. No. When a unit suffers wounds from a ranged attack, if the attacker has LOS to only some of the miniatures in the defending unit, the defending unit cannot suffer wounds greater than the total wound threshold of miniatures that are in LOS. Hope this helps, Seth
  9. Hello, When a unit suffers wounds from a ranged attack, if the attacker has LOS to only some of the miniatures in the defending unit, the defending unit cannot suffer wounds greater than the total wound threshold of miniatures that are in LOS. Thanks, Seth
  10. Hi there, Players will place their own miniatures; the player performing the move into melee (in your example, the one-miniature unit, Darth Vader) will resolve their own miniature placement before the opposing player repositions any of their miniatures.. Refer to the Moving Into Melee process for more detail. Players are not required to "maximize" the number of miniatures in base contact with opposing miniatures. As each miniature is placed, it must be placed into contact with an enemy miniature if able; if it is not able (such as due to the placement of other miniatures in its unit prior), it is placed in cohesion. The opposing/"defending" unit leader is not obligated to be placed into base contact with Darth Vader in your example, if there is not room to do so when that miniature is repositioned. Yes. The entire unit is in melee with Darth Vader. The number of wounds the unit can suffer is not affected by the number of miniatures in base contact with opposing miniatures. This is covered in the Suffering Wounds and Defeating Miniatures section of the Star Wars: Legion Core Rulebook; specifically, in the Removing Miniature in Melee box. Starting with the attacking player, each player must place any friendly miniatures that are no longer in base contact with miniatures in the enemy unit into base contact with the enemy unit. Refer to the Removing Miniatures in Melee rules for more detail. Yes, they are placed using the normal rules for cohesion. Yes, they can be placed out of line of sight of the attacking unit. However, When a unit suffers wounds from a ranged attack, if the attacker has LOS to only some of the miniatures in the defending unit, the defending unit cannot suffer wounds greater than the total wound threshold of miniatures that are in LOS. The attacking unit (Darth Vader) will be placed back into base contact with an enemy miniature, as given in the Removing Miniatures in Melee process. Hope this helps, Seth
  11. Hello, When a unit utilizes the Authoritative keyword, it is ultimately not issued an order; it issues an order to an eligible friendly unit instead. It will not have an order token - faceup or facedown. ------------------------- Padme's order token will be added the order pool as normal. She will not be assigned a facedown order token until she has activated. Yes, if a unit issues an order to another unit using the Comms Relay upgrade card instead of being issued an order itself, its order token will be added to the order pool. Hope this helps, Seth
  12. Hi there, Only the first unit displaced will suffer the effects of the Drive Them Out command card. If multiple minis, from more than one unit, are displaced simultaneously at the end of a move by a given repulsor vehicle, only the unit against which displacement is resolved first will be affected - the Tempest Force player may make this decision. Hope this helps, Seth
  13. Hello, The Saber Throw upgrade card text states it is treated as an attack action. As such, it can be used in place of a free attack action granted by keywords such as Relentless. -------------------------- Yes. Hope this helps, Seth
  14. Hello, Only performing an attack, performing an objective action, or defending against an attack will remove the effects of the Incognito keyword. ----------------------------------------------- No. Hope this helps, Seth
  15. Hi there, Only the first time a unit displaced by an eligible ground vehicle will it suffer the additional effects of the Drive Them Out Command Card. Recall that a notched base unit such as a vehicle travels along its movement tool as it moves - the first enemy unit overlapped during a move will be the one against which you will roll white defense dice as instructed by the Drive Them Out Command Card. Only the first enemy unit. Hope this helps, Seth
  16. Hello there, Yes. Using the Battle Meditation upgrade card, the equipped unit may issue one order to any friendly unit on the battlefield, instead of an order to one of the printed options on the command card. This can indeed be repurposing a printed order that would be issued to a unit that is not on the table (due to not being included in a player's army, or due to having been defeated prior). Sure! Hope this helps, Seth
  17. Hi there, A unit without a melee weapon cannot move into base contact with enemy miniatures. They will stop short. Do note that a unit with a compulsory move must make a move at maximum speed and will only reduce this distance if it cannot do so; if it is able to make a maximum speed move by bending its movement tool away from the intervening ground vehicle, it will do so! Hope this helps, Seth
  18. Hi there, A unit with Independent will gain X of the listed tokens or perform the listed action as a free action. In the case of Asajj Ventress with Independent: Dodge 1, she will gain 1 dodge token when eligible per the Independent keyword; it does not enable her to perform a dodge action instead and so will not benefit from the effects of the Defensive Stance upgrade card. Hope this helps, Seth
  19. Hello, The Reckless Diversion command card forces enemy units to attack affected units if able. As such, General Grievous would have to declare attacks against such units before moving on to other units without a faceup order token. As attacks are performed against units with faceup orders tokens, he will become unable to attack the Reckless Diversion units (as he already attacked them once!) - at this point he may declare and resolve further attacks against other enemy units. Hope this helps, Seth
  20. Hi there, A unit will lose all effects of the Incognito keyword if it performs an objective card action, performs an attack, or defends against an enemy attack. Neither moving into range 1 of an objective token placed per the Intercept the Transmissions Objective Card nor moving into base contact with terrain marked with an objective token per the Key Positions Objective Card are examples of performing an objective card action. In neither instance will a unit with Incognito lose the effects of the keyword, therefore they cannot be used to satisfy the Victory conditions on the relevant Objective Card (until, of course, they attack or defend!). Hope this helps, Seth
  21. Hello, Units will gain surge tokens during the Command Phase for each defeated enemy unit at the time the card is resolved. Units defeated later during that round will not add additional surge tokens to ordered units. The card counts defeated enemy units; it does not specify who defeated them or how they were defeated. Units defeated by other players or by other game effects are therefore included in the count. Hope this helps, Seth
  22. Hi there, The weapon given on the Trained in Your Jedi Arts command card may be used to perform a melee or ranged attacks (given by its range icons). As it has the Versatile keyword, General Grievous may perform a ranged attack even while engaged. However, General Grievous may still not target an engaged enemy trooper unit with a ranged attack. -------------------------------- He may not perform a ranged attack targeting an engaged enemy unit. It does! Hope this helps, Seth
  23. Hello, Yes. If Jyn Erso performs a free move action using the Rebellious command card, she may perform a free melee attack using Charge against a unit other than that which is activating and allowed her to move. Hope this helps, Seth
  24. Hi there, When a notched base unit that can reverse performs a move action, it can choose to reverse instead of making another movement - that is to say, instead of making a standard move, climb, or other type of special moves available to it. --------------------------------- A reverse is not a standard move and will not qualify for the Reposition keyword. Hope this helps, Seth
  25. Hi there, Yes. There is no set limit on the number of times a unit may apply its Guardian X keyword in a given round. Yes, units may use Guardian X each time an attack is being performed upon an eligible friendly unit. This can occur for multiple attack pools over the course of a given turn, or even within a given attack action. Yes. Hope this helps, Seth
