Republic tank and air support card
Seth replied to MajorHampel's topic in Star Wars: Legion Rules Questions
Yes. A unit is limited to a single attack action during its activation, but the Air Support command card grants an attack (not an action!) at the end of the appropriate unit's activation. No, as Air Support specifies you make an attack with the specified weapon (printed on the card). Hope this helps, Seth- 1 reply

Hello, When a unit disembarks, if the vehicle transporting that unit performed more than one non-pivot move during the current round, that unit cannot perform additional actions or free actions. If the transport performed more than one non-pivot move prior to this disembark, no, Darth Vader may not attack with Relentless that turn. If the transport did not move or only moved once, yes, Darth Vader may use Relentless. Hope this helps, Seth

Hello, Refer to page 17, "Defeating Upgrade Card Miniatures": In your example, a unit that has had its "saboteur" miniature defeated can longer use both the Arm and Detonate keywords it granted. A "comms tech" miniature grants an additional upgrade icon, which are specifically outlined above, and are retained even if that miniature is defeated.

Hello, Units that were issued orders by Discretion may also be chosen to receive a dodge token; the card does not specify the tokens may only be given to units that were not issued an order. If your example is to issue an order to one unit (not specified?) and then apply dodge tokens to units A & B in lieu of issuing your second and third orders, that is an allowed use of the card. Hope this helps, Seth

Hover Air: Blocks LOS, considered Repulsor?
Seth replied to Thraug's topic in Star Wars: Legion Rules Questions
Hello, If they have the repulsor vehicle unit type, they are a repulsor vehicle. No, because repulsor vehicles do not block LOS and the Hover: Air keyword does not specify otherwise. Hope this helps, Seth- 1 reply

Hello, The Cover X keyword improves a unit's numerical cover by the value of X during the Apply Dodge and Cover step. They will therefore have a value for cover established prior to Cover X being applied. In your example, the unit has heavy cover (outcome #1 presented) - the unit has heavy cover due to the position of minis, and the Cover 1 keyword will have no further effect as it cannot improve cover further. Hope this helps, Seth

ISP Beam 2 Elite Armor Pilot
Seth replied to JokerAlpha's topic in Star Wars: Legion Rules Questions
Hello, The 327th Star Corps Elite Armor Pilots upgrade card grants surge to crit while attacking if a friendly unit uses Fire Support. Note that the Beam X keyword allows the unit to declare up to X additional attacks at additional defenders using the weapon with the Beam X keyword. As the additional targets are additional (separate) attacks, they will need to have dice added by way of a friendly unit's Fire Support to gain surge to crit; one Fire Support will not grant the Infantry Support Platform surge to crit for all of its attacks. Hope this helps, Seth -

New Ways to Motivate Them and Dark Troopers
Seth replied to TwirlingTwister's topic in Star Wars: Legion Rules Questions
Hello, Darth Vader's New Ways to Motivate Them command card triggers when a friendly unit with a faceup order token activates. As it is during their activation, it will not allow a unit with the Plodding keyword to perform more moves than they would normally be allowed to otherwise. Hope this helps, Seth- 1 reply

Hello, The "Specialist" upgrades (Rebel Trooper Specialist, Stormtrooper Specialist, Clone Trooper Specialist) grant the unit an aim, dodge, or surge token (depending on the upgrade) as a free action. A free action, if not specified otherwise, may be performed during a unit's Perform Actions step, but will not "interrupt" another action, such as an attack action, that is being resolved. The corps unit in question will have to exhaust their upgrade card to gain an aim token prior to declaring and resolving an attack action. It may not be exhausted during the Reroll Attack Dice step. Hope this helps, Seth

Yes. Note that, when a unit leader is displaced that are placed at a speed-1 move from their original position, but do not perform a move. Displacement will not be at all affected by any immobilize tokens the unit may have. Yes. The vehicle would not be forced to "stop short" of the unit; see above. Yes, it will gain suppression if displaced. Hope this helps, Seth

IG-88 Arsenal X and Splitfiring with Versatile
Seth replied to Fenix21's topic in Star Wars: Legion Rules Questions
Correct! IG-88 may make form two attack pools thanks to Arsenal 2, and may use the E-11 ranged weapon while engaged thanks to the Versatile keyword. No. Only weapons with the Versatile keyword may be selected when performing ranged attacks while engaged. Yes, each time the Reroll Attack Dice step is reached (twice in this case if forming two attack pools), if the target unit is wounded, an aim token may be gained from the Hunter upgrade card. Hope this helps, Seth -
Hello, No, a single aim token will not trigger both Duelist and Lethal. Note that Duelist only applies if one or more aim tokens are spent during the Reroll Attack Dice step, while Lethal has aim tokens spent during the Modify Attack Dice step. Hope this helps, Seth

Speed X move over terrain larger than models silhouette
Seth replied to goreshde's topic in Star Wars: Legion Rules Questions
Hello, If said terrain is obstacle terrain & taller than a unit's silhouette, that unit may not move over or through it without performing a climb move. Abilities that provide moves (page 25), such as those quoted, are standard moves and not climb moves, and so cannot be performed to move over obstacle terrain taller than the unit's silhouette. If it is not obstacle terrain, but scatter terrain or area terrain, then units may move through it irrespective of height unless it was determined to be Impassable. Hope this helps, Seth- 1 reply

Cad Bane Kablamo! token Vs hostage carrying unit
Seth replied to Beefcake4000's topic in Star Wars: Legion Rules Questions
Cad Bane's I Make the Rules Now is Divulge: Deploy Units Step. Units are placed, moved, and assigned claimed objective tokens in the Hostage Exchange mission prior to the Deploy Units step - specifically, in the Resolve Objective and Condition Cards step. Due to the Immune: Enemy Effects keyword, a unit with the Hostage upgrade card cannot be affected by a Kablamo token. The token will still be revealed, and resolved against any other eligible units if in range and LOS of them. Hope this helps, Seth- 1 reply
