Separation Anxiety - Creepy Crawly Goo
AMG_Sarah replied to Chetote's topic in Marvel: Crisis Protocol Rules Questions
The Symbiote token that cannot be picked up would remain on the battlefield. -
If a token in an Ultimate Encounter is referred to as an Asset or Civilian token, it is an extract objective token and can be affected by the relevant part of Mystique's Leadership. If a token in an Ultimate Encounter is Controlled or Secured, grants VPs, and cannot be picked up or held, it is a secure objective token and can be affected by the relevant part of Mystique's Leadership.

The Unstoppable Colossus Rampages as his Activation each time he Activates. A Rampage is made up of two actions: first, the Rampage movement, then the Rampage chart. During the Rampage movement, Unstoppable Colossus is Pushed Toward the Priority Cerebro Tower. After that movement is resolved, he rolls on and resolves the Rampage chart. If the Rampage chart says that Unstoppable Colossus should Rampage again, this is a full Rampage. He makes another Rampage movement and Rampage chart roll.

Aggressive vs Throw before damage
AMG_Sarah replied to Morrigan's topic in Marvel: Crisis Protocol Rules Questions
Damage dealt by an attack refers specifically to the damage dealt as a result of rolling the attack's attack dice. Damage dealt by Throws or other special effects does not count for Aggressive. -
Each objective token should be rolled for and resolved completely before rolling for the next one. If the objective token Mysterio is now contesting has not been rolled for already this Cleanup Phase, Sin's controlling player may choose to roll for it after fully resolving the original roll's effect.

Ultimate Encounter Ultron AI
AMG_Sarah replied to GooseMVP's topic in Marvel: Crisis Protocol Rules Questions
If the AI chart indicates that Ultron should take the third option, players take the following steps in order to resolve his actions: Choose a valid Doomsday Console not within Range 5 of Ultron. Players should always treat Ultron as intelligent and pick a Doomsday Console he can reach, if able. Ultron uses a move action to Advance toward the Doomsday Console. If Ultron is not yet within Range 1 of the Doomsday Console, he uses his Matter Transferance superpower to Place himself Range 2 from his current position closer to the Doomsday Console. If Ultron is now within Range 1 of the Doomsday Console, he Interacts with it. If Ultron is NOT within Range 1 of the Doomsday Console, his Programming Function ends and he proceeds to his Assault Functions. He cannot Interact with the Doomsday Console if he is not within Range 1 of it. Players should try to avoid directing Ultron to waste his actions. In a cooperative game against the AI, if the AI indicates Ultron must become stuck in a loop or do something useless, the players are free to agree he should do something more clever and sinister instead!- 1 reply

domain of the dread dormammu
AMG_Sarah replied to Matt H's topic in Marvel: Crisis Protocol Rules Questions
Crisis Team members and Cosmic Threat Minions can steal Spell Components and Shards from one another via superpowers like Master Cat Burglar. However, the Crisis Team has no ability to use Shards and Minions (not Dormammu) have no ability to use Spell Components. The character who stole the token is simply holding it.- 3 replies

Age of Ultron is triggered between when Ultron is KO'd and when he is removed from the battlefield. All held objective tokens are dropped at the moment Ultron is KO'd, so the effect of the Hammers is lost and Age of Ultron costs only 8 Power to play.

Blind Obsession/Hulkbuster
AMG_Sarah replied to Minladir's topic in Marvel: Crisis Protocol Rules Questions
If Hulkbuster plays Blind Obsession and is then removed from the battlefield with Enhanced Support Systems, the Obsession token remains on him. If he is returned to the battlefield, he will still have the Obsession token. -

If a character does not end a movement within Range 2 of the trapped objective token, the trap does not trigger. The effect of Sinister Traps will remain on the token, and can be triggered as normal if the token is ever returned to the board.

Enchantress and Sacrifice
AMG_Sarah replied to Le Pogo de lAmour's topic in Marvel: Crisis Protocol Rules Questions
In order: Yes, Enchanting still works. Yes, the attacker can pay the Power for Enchanting when Enchantress becomes the target of the attack. Enchanting is the defending character's effect, so it occurs and is resolved during the same part of Step 2.D of the Attack Timing Chart as Sacrifice. After Sacrifice is resolved by the defender, the defender then resolves Enchanting, and the attacker receives the opportunity to pay the Power.- 1 reply
