Do you remove suppression before scoring?
TalkPolite replied to Magnus A-B's topic in Star Wars: Legion Rules Questions
Hello, Remove Tokens (which includes removing one suppression from eligible trooper units) is before the end of a round/the game. The unit would score the hostage in your example. TP- 1 reply

Limited visibility and range
TalkPolite replied to Aincrad89's topic in Star Wars: Legion Rules Questions
Hello, Range is measured from the attacking unit leader, so the droideka unit wouldn’t be able to make a ranged attack. TP -
Makashi mastery vs obi wan deflect
TalkPolite replied to talldrank's topic in Star Wars: Legion Rules Questions
Hello, Dooku would still take the wound. Soresu Mastery causes a wound to the attacker for each surge result rolled, so Dooku will still take the wound, as a Surge result was rolled by Obi Wan, even if it was canceled by the Pierce X keyword. TP -
Arc Trooper Sniper has Jetpack?
TalkPolite replied to Teebo's topic in Star Wars: Legion: Special Operations Rules Questions
Hello, Yes, you can add a jetpack to the miniature. The Jetpack isn't mentioned as it's a subtitle, but the Arc Trooper (DC-15x Long Rifle) unit has the same speed and Bound keyword as ARC troopers (Jetpack), and therefore can be modeled with a Jetpack! TP -
Wookiee Defenders and Hostage Exchange
TalkPolite replied to Anttix's topic in Star Wars: Legion Rules Questions
Hello, The Battleforce Special rules state that Wookiee Warriors (Noble Fighters) count as a Corps unit for the purposes of army building and Battle Cards. Therefore, the Wookiee Warriors you mentioned would be able to select one as a Corps unit to start with a claimed Hostage upgrade card in Hostage Exchange. TP -

TalkPolite replied to Grinch's topic in Star Wars: Legion Rules Questions
Hello, The Wookiee Warriors count as Corps for the purposes of army building and battle cards. They still retain their Special Force rank during the game. TP -

Hello, Fixed front doesn’t determine how many miniatures are eligible to be defeated, only if the unit can be targeted or not. If one mini from the unit is in arc, the entire unit is a valid target, and you cause wounds / defeat miniatures as normal. TP

Multiple objectives with same mini

Rapid Reinforcements Unit type select
TalkPolite replied to Nazull's topic in Star Wars: Legion Rules Questions
Hello, The effect of “Rapid Reinforcements” can only be utilized by Trooper units. The card specifies that Trooper units with the rank of Commander or Operative cannot be chosen. AATs and Saber tanks cannot use the effect of that condition card. TP -

Base contact with Condition Tokens
TalkPolite replied to Butninja's topic in Star Wars: Legion Rules Questions
Hello, Yes. Generally speaking, most numbered keywords stack, with a few limitations. Different sources of Scout would stack up to 3, which is the highest speed a unit can move. Yes. As stated, the limitation is with Objective tokens, and Condition tokens are not Objective tokens. TP- 1 reply

TalkPolite replied to Podfrey's topic in Star Wars: Legion Rules Questions

Hello, Armor is used when defending against an attack, and the unit using Guardian is not the defender of an attack. Therefore Armor and Armor X are not triggered when using Guardian and the unit would still roll a defense due for the hit against it. Also, please note that “Esteemed Leader” only gives Corps units Guardian. Darktroopers in your example are not corps. TP
