  1. Hello, No, it is a card action. Those players are correct. See above! Hope this helps, Seth
  2. Hello, Mandaluri, A panicked unit loses actions during its Perform Actions step, after its Rally. If Luke uses You Serve Your Master Well on a panicked unit, that unit may still perform the free action as instructed on the card. The Corps unit in question may indeed utilize the courage value of a friendly Commander at range 3, as normal. Hope that helps! Seth
  3. Hello, If, from any point, the defending vehicle's silhouette is 50% obscured, it will count as obscured and benefit from cover. In your example, the attacker may not choose one point to avoid the target benefiting from cover. Hope this helps, Seth
  4. Hello, Hover: Ground vehicles are treated as ground vehicles by other units for all LOS purposes, movement through other units, and displacement. Which is to say, they cannot move through other vehicles (barring repulsor vehicles), creatures, emplacements, or engaged troopers. Those are all units which also cannot be displaced. You are correct that those units also cannot move through a Hover: Ground vehicle, unless they have a special rule which allows them to do so. Hope this helps, Seth
  5. Hello, Yes, a panicked unit may perform moves as a result of abilities that provide moves outside of its activation.
  6. Hello, Only trooper units may be chosen by the promote game effect in the Update Order Pool and Promote step of the End Phase.
  7. Hello, Fire Support is declared during the Form Attack Pool step of the attack process. Gunslinger is resolved during Declare Additional Defenders, which instructs the attacking player to repeat steps 1 & 2 (Declare Defender & Form Attack Pool, respectively). Fire Support may indeed be used during the repeated Form Attack Pool step. Yes, Phase 1 Clone Trooper units "U1" and "U2" may each use their Fire Support keyword to add weapon dice to both attack pools formed by the Infantry Support Platform. Hope that helps! Seth
  8. Hello, Yes, a panicked unit may perform free actions outside of its activation by way of keywords such as Pulling the Strings and Guidance.
  9. Hello! Short answer: Yes, you may disembark with Dauntless. Long answer: As per Embark and Disembark (page 51), "(...) a unit that is being transported may perform a disembark move during a move action instead of making another movement." With Dauntless, a unit "(...) may gain one suppression token to perform a free move action." Hope this helps, Seth
  10. Hello, Yes, assuming all steps of Moving into Melee on page 26 were performed. Minis should be placed into base contact with enemy miniatures they are now in melee with; if they cannot, then they are placed in cohesion. If this is still impossible, place them as close as possible to the unit leader. Hope this helps, Seth
  11. Hello, A unit cannot be affected by the same Smoke token more than once. A unit will not improve cover twice as a result of they and the attacking unit leader being at range 1 of the same Smoke token. Hope that helps! Seth
  12. Hello, Dwit, The wound threshold is the printed value on the unit or upgrade card, as defined on pages 7 & 8. If a single Wookiee Warrior is visible, its unit is eligible to suffer 3 wounds from that attack, as the visible minis have a total wound threshold of 3. The number of wound tokens presently on any visible minis does not affect the total wound threshold of miniatures that are in LOS. Hope this helps, Seth
  13. Hello, The effects of Reckless Diversion, as quoted, only apply if an enemy unit is able to perform the attack on the unit with a faceup order token. If R2-D2 has a faceup order token and Reckless Diversion in play, but at least one suppression token to enable the effects of Inconspicuous, and of course assuming at least one alternative eligible target, then that enemy unit is unable to target R2-D2. Hope this helps, Seth
  14. Hello, Disarray reads: "Each player must deploy at least one unit in each of their deployment zones." Scout X reads: "After a unit with the Scout X keyword deploys..." Scout occurs after a unit deploys. A unit will have deployed in their deployment zone, per the requirement of Disarray, even if they Scout beyond it afterwards. Hope this helps! Seth
  15. Hello, The enemy unit leader does not have to personally be at range 1 of the unit with Incognito. Your scenario is accurate: the unit may make a ranged attack at range 2 targeting a mini under the effects of Incognito so long as one or more minis are at range 1 of the Incognito unit. Good job, Seth
  16. Hello, Refer to the timing lists in Resolve Command Card Effects. As both cards do not have a specific timing, they are resolved in step 2, starting with the Blue player. Both of your scenarios are the proper sequence of events. No, the Cunning keyword has no effect on the outcomes. Strong work!
  17. Hello, Yes, the player controlling Luke Skywalker may resolve all effects of the free move action performed in your example, including making a free attack as a result of Relentless. Hope this helps, Seth
  18. Hello, If the attack cannot be made, it was "wasted" in that it is not resolved. The unit may make another action instead. If a unit with AI: Attack does not have any eligible enemy targets, it will get its two actions as normal. Hope this helps, Seth
  19. Hello, The Minefield condition card is not an enemy card, and its effects are not enemy effects. If a condition token detonates in range of a unit carrying a hostage objective token, the attack will be resolved as normal, including during the first round.
  20. Hello, The Outmaneuver keyword allows a unit to spend dodge tokens to cancel <critical> results during the Apply Dodge and Cover step. Soresu Mastery & Guardian X are resolved during the Modify Attack Dice step. Outmaneuver will not have any effect.
  21. Hello, Immobilize tokens affect a unit's maximum speed. An ability that provides moves, such as Force Push, provides a move of a certain speed, regardless of a unit's maximum speed. Note that a unit with a maximum speed of 0 and at least one immobilize token cannot perform moves of any kind. In combination & for clarity: A speed-2 unit with one Immobilize token can perform a speed-1 move as a result of Force Push. That same speed-2 unit with two immobilize tokens could not perform moves of any kind, including as a result of Force Push. I hope that helps! Seth
  22. Hello, A unit eligible to be transported is one that can make an embark or disembark. As you list: units with a speed of 0, the Stationary keyword, a claimed objective token, or the creature trooper unit type may not embark or disembark. It is not legal to deploy a creature trooper within a transport. They are no longer transported. Units that begin the game transported may disembark via a disembark move. Hope this helps, Seth
  23. Yes. The objective card does not specify that only trooper unit leaders may be selected during Setup. No. Each unit may not have more than 1 claimed objective token. A detonated objective token is removed from the battlefield. Yes. Units with the Incognito keyword cannot be used to satisfy the Victory Conditions on an objective card; but this is Setup! An unclaimed token may only be detonated by a player if it was flipped to its unclaimed side by a Drop action from a unit they control. This token has been flipped to its unclaimed side due to the claiming unit being defeated and is ineligible to be detonated by either player.
  24. Hi! Yes, units can move through and overlap charge tokens. Note that charge tokens themselves cannot overlap any objective, condition, or other charge tokens. Hope this helps, Seth
  25. Hello, Yes, a unit may be removed from or placed into base contact when placed by Vader's Might.
